Success! 🚀 🇨🇦 At 3:45 PM EDT on Friday May 16th, 2025, we successfully tested both our new orbital Darkhorse engine test cell and our new third generation 3D printed Hadfield liquid rocket engine for the first time, marking a significant step towards Canada’s first commercial space launch. The test ran for 7 seconds at our propulsion test range, a company-owned secure site in Northeastern Ontario, successfully delivering nominal thrust, active cooling, and impulse results. This major test of the Darkhorse test cell and Hadfield Mk III engine lays the groundwork for NordSpace's Tundra orbital rocket, as the test cell is specifically designed to integrate with our turbo pump assembly in the next phase of propulsion development. Long duration tests are scheduled for the coming days, along with refinements to fuel mixture ratios and higher-pressure scenarios to test the limits of Darkhorse and our new engines. Minor upgrades and fixes to address a harmless leak in the cryogenic liquid oxygen line and design changes to our experimental control rods have already been made. Hot on the heels of our successful integrated test of our Taiga sub-orbital launch vehicle back in January, rapid developments and approvals at our spaceport in Newfoundland and Labrador, announcement of the SHARP (Supersonics and Hypersonics Applications Research Program), hosting the inaugural Canadian Space Launch Conference in Ottawa, and more - NordSpace is strengthening its position every day to ensure sovereign space launch is not just possible, but probable for Canada. Our historic first experimental flight is scheduled for 2025 from our spaceport, Spaceport Canada. Our energy imports continue uninterrupted even as supply chains choke. We are able to ensure easy availability of fuel for our citizens even as countries worldwide struggle to make energy ends meet. We are able to do this because India has diversified its import basket to 41 sources from the basket of 27 that existed in 2014. India not only secured its energy needs, but emerged stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for the future. While many countries struggled with shortages and soaring prices, India protected its citizens because we planned ahead, diversified supply chains, strengthened strategic reserves, expanded sourcing options, and took difficult decisions when required. PM Modi Ji’s vision has never been limited to managing crises. His vision is to use every crisis as an opportunity to build the future. India’s ethanol blending programme has grown from approximately 1.5% to the threshold of a 20% blending economy. Flex-fuel technology is creating new opportunities for consumers and farmers. There is a way to stop Gavin Newsom’s land grab of the Pacific Palisades People need to be aware of this “A lot of people are talking about Senate Bill 549 and they're calling it Gavin Newsom's Land Grab. I just finished reading the bill and I'm going to tell you what it's about and how you can stop it. So first of all, what it is is a special statute which allows it to circumvent Article 16, Section 4 of the California Constitution. What it's designed to do is, is give Los Angeles county the authority to create a new agency, rra, the Resilient Rebuilding Authority. And this allows the county to use property taxes in order to buy up properties within the fire zones. The same applies with the city of LA. They also have the authority. They're doing it under the auspices of helping out fire victims, saying, if you can't afford to rebuild your home, we'll buy it, we'll hold it in this land bank and, and you'll have the first right of refusal when it comes to us selling the property. Yet at the same time, the county also reserves the right to develop it and turn it into low income housing. The real motivation for the bill is summarized in this paragraph. 50% of the housing funds are to be used to help homeless persons get off the street. This is clearly just a way for the government to throw more money at the homeless crisis. But like I said, there is a way to stop it. The Public Finance Authority, who's in charge of all of this, has to hold three hearings before they can adopt this new ordinance. If less than 25% of the homeowners and residents protest the ordinance, then they can go ahead and adopt it. If between 25 and 50% of the residents protest the ordinance, then it goes to an election and the majority gets the vote. And if more than 50% of people protest the motion, then it's dead in the water and the ordinance will not be adopted. So if you're a resident in Pacific Palisades or Altadena and you don't want your new neighbor, or neighbors, plural, in a huge multi family unit being a bunch of homeless people, make sure you get right on this. Show up at the hearings and file a protest”

Here we go guys✅🚀 The jet engine survived the stress test✅ We pushed the engine to full power(100% throttle and 100% Afterburner) for about 12 minutes nonstop. It was critically loud, violent and powerful 🔥 My neighbor's police orderly said whenever they hear a very loud sound they know I'm back in town🤣 After the stress test the jet turbine blades still looked brand new✅, this means the exhaust design is near perfect ✅ The Exhaust Gas Temperature never exceeded 860 degrees Celsius even on afterburner mode✅, although the flame shooting out is over a thousand degrees Celsius ⚠️ For the first time, I saw some blue AB flames which looked cool🥶 On standard operation, the jet engine can now run for hours nonstop as long as there's fuel✅ The Afterburner mode pushes the engine power further, tho we have to limit it's duration due to the nature of the exhaust material currently being used. SO MUCH NEW SHIT TO TALK ABOUT: First of all, this is the very first game to utilize the brand new "hybrid" vertex submission mechanism we just added to KallistiOS. It was a long, cruel week to get all of the issues there sorted out, but they have been, and it has further boosted the game's performance while under load and is now something the rest of the DC community can utilize in their homebrew. This scene in particular used to lag using the traditional, DMA-based vertex submission mechanism with all of the lights and its higher geometric complexity, but notice it's not even dropping a frame now! Next, support for the Dreamcast's MOUSE and KEYBOARD have been added. These controls play EXTREMELY well and feel like a very smooth, natural way to play the game, if you want the Steam/PC control scheme. Finally... if there is any doubt as to whether the Dreamcast version is actually the definitive way to the play the game, jnmartin now allows you to export the assets from the (LEGALLY PURCHASED, DAMNIT!!!) Steam version, and import them into the Dreamcast version, where you can enjoy the extra bonus levels and campaign with the new and improved graphics! THIS IS NOW PUBLICLY AVAILABLE! SO MUCH NEW SHIT TO TALK ABOUT: First of all, this is the very first game to utilize the brand new "hybrid" vertex submission mechanism we just added to KallistiOS. It was a long, cruel week to get all of the issues there sorted out, but they have been, and it has further boosted the game's performance while under load and is now something the rest of the DC community can utilize in their homebrew. This scene in particular used to lag using the traditional, DMA-based vertex submission mechanism with all of the lights and its higher geometric complexity, but notice it's not even dropping a frame now! Next, support for the Dreamcast's MOUSE and KEYBOARD have been added. These controls play EXTREMELY well and feel like a very smooth, natural way to play the game, if you want the Steam/PC control scheme. Finally... if there is any doubt as to whether the Dreamcast version is actually the definitive way to the play the game, jnmartin now allows you to export the assets from the (LEGALLY PURCHASED, DAMNIT!!!) Steam version, and import them into the Dreamcast version, where you can enjoy the extra bonus levels and campaign with the new and improved graphics! THIS IS NOW PUBLICLY AVAILABLE!
