Gen-X here. Yes, lives have been drastically changed. Before, you had to call or meet in person. It didn't matter for what, you just did. People were reclusive for a reason. Our language, society, and expectations are all wonky now.

Ruin no. But it did change the focus from outside to inside. Really not kidding. People used to get out more. Perhaps that is why malls are dead. I loved to people watch. Where do you do that now?
