The internet is wrong about Julius Randle, again

I actually like this take, but KAT is a significantly more talented passer than Julius + the shooting gravity he brings is more deadly. The pet spots Julius likes on the floor are just not as conducive to this type of style.

Ya you didnt watch Randle shit himself in the playoffs with the Knicks and be half as efficient as he was in the regular season. The take makes sense if Randle becomes more consistent come playoff time then ya. But he hasnt shown it

JuJu is a beast but when things don't go his way he becomes a shell of himself. Kinda same criticism of Kat at times. It's not a skills thing with him but his body language sucks at times.

Does he have the passing vision?

This is more of a skill thing. Even before KAT was this awesome playmaker from the nail, he still had a whole season last year where played amazing. And won the Knicks 2 playoff games in last year. Julius can’t do this cause he doesnt have KAT’s court vision and IQ.

Kat has overwhelming physical presence that makes it so easy for him to make those passes from the top of the key. Can’t say I envision similar success for Randle especially considering I don’t think he has the same level of passing skill and instinct as kat. 2 very diff players

This is a great take; however, Julius Randle isn’t even close to the type of playmaker as KAT is in this system. Bigger issue though, Randle has to buy in.

All these “fans,” don’t care about Randle as a player and create these false ideas that Randle is suboptimal player across all skill sets. Randle is a point forward that draws doubles. That’s his strengths. Wolves can make him into that hub and focus on making the extra pass.

As a Knicks & Randle fan, I have consistently said that the Timberwolves weren’t using Randle to the best of his abilities He’s better as a point forward, and he needs to get the ball in his spot MN hasn’t been utilizing him correctly I wouldn’t trade him

I agree, that Randle is good with 17/8/9. But you also hit it out the park with a couple of things needing to happen, which, I don't think will. Randle Buy? He's had years to buy into a system, what will change now? Finch/Wolves believe in him?- They have PTSD.

Your take is flawed, the only reason KAT is successful is because of Brunson. Remove Brunson from Knicks and they would barely qualify for the playoffs. KAT can be good some games,but don't talk like he is someone who would put up double double every single night
