If the interviewer was actually smart on this topic, they could have gone with: 1) The fact that the Barbary Slave Trade carried more than 3x white slaves to Africa than the Transatlantic Slave Trade carried from Africa to the U.S. 2) The fact that the word slave is derived from "slav" because the slavic people were enslaved so often 3) The fact that whites - in their infinite racism - abolished slavery, while slavery still exists in Africa 4) The fact that there are more slaves now than there was during the Transatlantic Slave Trade

@FreedomWolf82 Why don't they hit the Slave Traders? The Middle East Muslims sold more slaves to the USA than anyone else. Don't blame the Buyers..blame the Sellers!
