There are few people in sport who transcend their particular sport. Micko was one of the few. He will forever be regarded as the greatest ever manager in Gaelic football. What he achieved with the Kerry teams of the 70’s and 80’s won’t be matched. A truely iconic GAA man #micko

I had the honor of meeting the great man on the pitch at croke park after kildare beat kerry in 1997 I grew up hearing about the 4 in a row I ask him to sign my flag & he smiled & gladly did. It takes pride of place in my home. RIP to Mr Kerry
