The Iranian “revolution” has sputtered out. Stifled by internet shutdowns and a lack of widespread support, the latest Iranian uprising appears to have quietly faded, resonating more loudly abroad than at home. The internet psyopped itself into hoping a revolution would happen, but what began with a bang had... ended in less than a whimper. On the ground, the protests failed to gain necessary momentum outside of noise online and protests from the Iranian diaspora outside of the country. As detailed by former CIA director Mike Pompeo, the demonstrations were entirely orchestrated by outside agencies from the US and Israel with the hope that they would metastasize into something organic. But that never happened. Contrary to all expectations that the protests would grow, on Monday, tens of thousands of pro-regime supporters turned out in the cities to protest against the anti-government demonstrators. Their numbers and size dwarfed any of the anti-regime protests, putting to rest any notion that the majority of Iranians have any interest in regime change. It would also appear that after Trump managed to cleanly and quickly remove Maduro from power, everyone was expecting the same thing to happen in Iran, even though no plans were ever in place to carry out such a mission. Maduro’s removal took months of meticulous planning, after all. All in all, Amnesty International reports that only 28 people died, which includes security forces and also a few minors. Other organizations report that around 500 or so people died in the clashes, including numbers on both sides. Although the movement reached dozens of cities with protests of varying size and some vigilante action took place, the regime was swift to detain participants and there are reports that they are now moving toward public executions for a number of those in custody. The regime, which remains fully in power, has vowed payback against the US for staging the protests but they’re unlikely to be able to do anything.show more

In my interview with LBC, I explained that this is a full scale revolution that is growing organically through the leadership of numerous leaders, which is why the regime has a much harder time to crack down on the protests as it cannot pinpoint a source. Now is the time for us to unite around what we all want, which is freedom, the overthrowing of the regime and establishment of the secular democratic system in Iran. The people of Iran continue to embrace the support of President Trump, as it gives them hope to continue towards the overthrow of this evil regime. I am sure that President Trump also appreciates the sacrifices being made by the people of Iran, not only for their own freedom, but the safety and security of the entire world.
