The Irish, Scottish and Welsh likewise have a sacred connection to the land Ireland was promised by the gods to the Gaels and their descendents. The first ancestors of the Gaels made a contract with the triple goddess of Ireland: Eriu, Banba, Fodla. The same could be said of...

Every letter in the Gaelic alphabet is linked to a tree. 🌳 The very structure of the language reflects a deep connection between people and the natural world, and an understanding of the practical and cultural importance of trees. These tree species, and many more, are part of the Caledonian forest. The language of the Gaels offers a glimpse of a time when woodland was more widespread, woven into both daily life and the landscape itself. I’m very honoured to been made an Honorary Fellow of the Association of Scottish Literature @scotlit which does sterling work to promote Scots writing. The ceremony was deeply moving with the recitation of ballads and the singing of songs in Scots and the Gaelic. One highlight a wonderful Gaelic rendition of In Praise of Ben Doran by the great Duncan Ban Macintyre, and a fabulous English translation by Alan Riach who writes like Scotland's answer to Gerald Manley Hopkirk. Thank you again ASL

The first Gaelic football video game in over 20 years is hitting the shelves on Thursday - after being created by a Belfast company. ‘Gaelic Football Laochra’ by Buck Eejit Games, will be the first Irish-made video game to offer players a Gaelic Football experience, and the first to feature Gaelic games since an Australian company released a series of poorly received football and hurling titles in the mid-2000s. The game will be released for PC, XBOX and PlayStation, and it will allow players to choose any of Ireland’s county football teams, along with London and New York.

Scottish Gaelic in Canada Here is a clip from 1946 showing Cape Bretoners singing a traditional song in the Scottish Gaelic language. Although much declined, there are still close to 4,000 Scottish Gaelic speakers in Atlantic Canada. Together, Scottish Gaelic and Irish were the third largest spoken language group in Canada at the time of Confederation, with hundreds of thousands of speakers. The traditional custom shown here is called "waulking," otherwise known as "fulling," and is a part of the woollen clothmaking process. The beating of the wool on the table helps the fibres knit together. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙🎶❤️🇨🇦

🔥🇮🇪 “THEY HAVE FARMED THEIR LAND FOR GENERATIONS ONLY TO HAVE THE GOVERNMENT OF BRUSSELS (EU) COME IN AND HAND IT OVER TO THIRD WORLD ALGERIANS, SOMALIS AND MIGRANTS” - Jack Posobiec Jack Posobiec is bringing the attention to the globalists SELLING OUT the people of Ireland not only financially but socially by introducing this foreign population to their culture. As an Irish American this sickens me to see what they are doing to erase our ancestors culture by design. They are calling it “THE LAST STRAW” and will not relent in preserving their heritage and land to keep IRELAND FOR THE IRISH.

Diamond Harbour Model !!! This incident happened at the Khariberia area in Bishnupur Block of South 24 Parganas district. A woman and her family members were thrashed and beaten up by a medicine merchant named Imam Ali, who has been trying to illegally occupy a plot of land forcefully. Attempts were being made by him to occupy the land for a long time. The affected family approached the Court. Even the Court seemed to have ruled in their favor. Imam Ali was not ready to accept the ruling, so he tried to occupy the land by force. The attack was carried out suddenly, and the beating took place in the presence of a local Panchayat Member. The injured lady was taken to the Amtala Hospital and thereafter she was referred to the Bangur Hospital for treatment. This incident reflects the Law and Order situation of the State, where rule of law can be bypassed by someone who is associated the ruling party of WB.

Tu B’Shvat is a holiday which is deeply tied to the land of Israel. It’s a reminder that Judaism is an indigenous faith rooted in the seasons and the fruits of this land. The seven species mentioned in the Bible, wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and dates, aren’t just symbolic. They represent a tangible connection to an ancient agricultural heritage and the physical land that shaped Jewish identity. In the Middle Ages, the custom developed to celebrate Tu B’Shvat with a feast of fruits. And in the 16th century, the Kabbalist rabbi, Yitzchak Luria, instituted a Tu B’Shvat seder, which is similar to the Passover seder, in which Jews all over the diaspora were able to reconnect to the land of Israel through eating her indigenous fruits. According to Kabbalah, when you eat fruits from the trees, it helps a human soul evolve. And Judaism is about being present to every single thing that you do and everything that you eat as well. Tu B’Shvat reminds us that Judaism and the land of Israel are inseparable. The roots of the Jewish people are right here. And to celebrate Tu B’Shvat is to celebrate Zionism, not as a modern political movement, but as a profound acknowledgement of a people’s enduring bond with the land of their ancestors. The land of Israel isn’t just a backdrop to Jewish history. It’s part of the story itself. And every seed sown, every tree planted, and every fruit harvested and eaten is a continuation of that story. Chag Tu B’Shvat Sameach, everyone. 🍃

#Hyderabad: Why are students of Hyderabad Central University protesting against the Telangana Govt? The Govt announced to auction 400 acres of land. Govt claims, the land is no forest nor home to any animals and belongs to the Govt . And Minister for IT Sridhar Babu Duddilla assured in the assembly that no land of the HCU will be touched. Students are fighting against alleged land encroachment in this process. The protesting student say( Verbatim) - "The reality is that the state government is misleading students to think that there is a distinction between University land and government land. It is well aware that the entire University is situated in the land of the state government. It was, in fact, the Congress government under Indira Gandhi that originally allocated 2,300 acres of government land for the University. The grandstanding by the minister-now conveniently celebrated by the Congress-affiliated student organization NSUl-is nothing more than a smokescreen to obscure the government's corporate appeasement and wash their hands off the responsibility to safeguard the university land’.

The Jewish people who live in Israel are probably the only population in the world that still practices the same religion, speaks the same language, passes on the same names, and then lives and rules in the same land as it did 3,000 years ago. The Jewish people have a continuous presence in Israel. This is the other part of the Tucker Carlson myth that deserves exploration. Not only is the genetic DNA dispositive, but there are actually Muslim records and Christian records and Ottoman records and later British records of Jews and Jewish communities living continuously in the land of Israel from the destruction of the temple in 70 AD all the way through.

Djibouti is the graveyard of Pan-Somalism, where the Free Republic of Somalia was buried. The Arta process gave birth to the Third Republic, which shattered the hopes of the displaced Somali people. Djibouti is the first place to seize land from free Somalis both Somaliland and Somalia and it works directly with Somalia to take territory from Somaliland. The so-called Issa Charter (Xeerka Ciise) was a plan designed to tell the Issa that they were no longer a clan but a nation, in order to mobilize them for war and use them as a tool to seize land from the Somali state. Meanwhile, the Issa themselves lost their own land, with the direct involvement of Issa leaders. The Prime Minister of Ethiopia declared in Dire Dawa that it is an Oromo city the first time an Ethiopian prime minister has ever publicly made such a statement. Likewise, the land long disputed between the Afar and the Issa remains under Afar control to this day. These developments took place during the era of Aden Farah, now the deputy to Abiy Ahmed, who handed Dire Dawa to the Oromo. Similarly, former regional vice-president Abdi Illey relinquished Afar land. The Issa Charter and the mobilization of the Issa used by Djibouti to seize land from free Somalis were jointly coordinated by President Hassan Sheikh, Ismail Omar Guelleh, and Mustafa Cagjar, in cooperation with the Somali ambassador to Ethiopia. The Issa traditional leader, who remained silent about Dire Dawa being handed to the Oromo and about the loss of Afar land, instead spoke in Zeila, calling on all Issa to mobilize and move wherever necessary to fight. The objective is clear: Issa land inside Ethiopia is being taken away, while the Issa are being pushed to serve Djibouti’s agenda of acquiring other Somali lands.

I was asked by USA Today to respond to remarks made by Hasan Piker about Zionism. Piker claimed as follows: “Zionism is the ethnoreligious supremacist ideology that is exterminationist in principle, born out of the wrong assessment that this was a land without people for a people without land. It required the extermination of the indigenous population, and that's precisely what has happened since its inception. And its final iteration of that has been the Gaza genocide that we watched unfold.” You can call a blowtorch an avocado as many times as you want, but it still doesn’t have a seed, and it still isn’t green because it’s still just a blowtorch. The claim that Zionism is an exterminationist ideology is just as nonsensical as calling a blowtorch an avocado. The suggestion that Jews want to exterminate the Arabs who also live on the land is likewise, as it has always been, ludicrous and false. Zionism is a simple idea, which is that Jews have the same rights — not more rights, but also not fewer rights — than every other people on Earth have to sovereignty in their national homeland. So just as you might think that Bulgarians have the right to sovereignty in their homeland, Japanese people, Korean people, German people all have the right to sovereignty in their homeland, Zionism is just the idea that Jews should be treated the same. By the way, this is in the charter, the charter that is the foundation of the state of Israel. In that document, the word ‘extermination,’ of course, would never appear there, but anything that even remotely resembles that word or idea is foreign to any of the early laws or that document. In fact, the document says precisely the opposite. The document says that one of the purposes of the state of Israel is to allow Jews and Arabs alike to live in peace and to flourish together in the land of Israel. That's what the Declaration of Independence of the State of Israel says, and by the way, that's what the state of Israel has proven, more so than what it said in 1948, in the decades since.
