so real, few years back, went on 7 interviews with the same company, 3 months and then when I decided to withdraw, they got pissed. Basically told them if management is taking this long to make a decision, it's a representation of the culture of the company 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is so true (discrimination) and not just in the tech field. Once I was told by a manager whom I knew very well that he couldn't hire me because he could hire '3' or more of me from India. I would stipulate they wouldn't be as well trained, but this didn't matter.

There has been an advertisement for SMT surface mount technician in my town for the same company for about 15 years so I'm assuming it's the same guy that keeps interviewing because they haven't hired

This is peak 😂😂😂. AWS told me I needed to block out a whole day for the round robin interview and I would probably also want to take off work the day before to prepare. That was just the first step of 5. I told the recruiter to shred my resume and never show it to anyone.

Not sure if people would even believe back in the day it was a one hour of pure conversation interview, and maybe a quick check on your degree, and one reference. Hired. The low trust H..1..scams ruined the interview process.

Ha- very well delivered satire. Took me 5 months and 5 interviews to land my current individual contributor role. Previously made 30% more money and it only took 3 interviews. Corporate America is cruel and fueled by nihilism
