A lot of you complaining about shooting in 2k25 dont understand how the shooting actually works and are just calling it bad so let me break it down real quick The shooting itself is pretty EASY, if you cant green your first few shots you're just mistiming and need to learn your timing or get better, for example you can green your first 2 jumpshots very easily. NOW LETS GET TO THE PROBLEM. But after say for example you make 2 shots in a row, MOST OF THE TIME 2k will give you NO GREEN WINDOW at all on the next shot, leaving it completely up to RNG (random) whether your next shot will go in (will most likely miss). So essentially 2k is punishing you for greening multiple shots in a row by forcing you to eventually miss your next shot most of the time. In this clip in a ranked 1v1 match, my opponent greens 2 shots in a row then i confidently leave him WIDE OPEN for the 3rd shot knowing that he will 100% MISS because of the algorithm and he does...then i do the exact same thing again after he makes 2 more shots in a row, i leave him WIDE OPEN for his 3rd shot knowing he will miss again and he does indeed miss... You should not be PUNISHED for timing your jumpshot correctly by being given no green window after you make a sequence of shots, THAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE SHOOTING...it is not hard to time your shot in general, the issue is after you make a few shots, you're given NO GREEN WINDOW, which is leaving it up to RNG which should not be a thing. And if there's any brainrot kids who can't understand me saying that the shooting is easy but then also saying that the way they made the algorithm to make you miss is bad, i am specifically talking about the times where it gives you no green window after making a few shots, which is not on every single shot... 2k needs to revert this because it should not be impossible to make specific jumpshots, especially after making a few shots you think you would be rewarded and it would be easier to make the next ones correct? Well they made it harder instead.

New car day part three…….I have a new car. This is a long one so grab a coffee and sit down - TLDR there’s more photos in the replies 🤣 and how much I paid is at the bottom of this essay 💷 Many of you guessed correctly, saying it’ll be a W211 E-Class Estate so I apologise if this is a bit anti climatic 😬 Jsl91 🦁🏎🥊 not only guessed the car but the bloody interior colours too! For reference though: It’s a 2007 ‘57’ Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI Elegance Estate which has the later 3.0 V6 CDI and 7G Tronic automatic gearbox fitted. It has a really nice upgraded spec from base spec including soft Nappa, electrically adjustable, memory and heated leather front seats, memory steering column and mirrors, very rare sunroof option, Bi-Xenon Headlights, COMAND APS infotainment upgrade with Bluetooth calling and the 7 seat option which seems odd but fold down perfectly flat as if they are not there. It’s averaged a new owner every 4.25 years which for a 17 year old car I really don’t think is bad, has a very decent MOT History and I have the last 10 years Service History physically documented on paper with the car. Prior to that is apparently with all with main dealer so I need to get them to send me it which will make it a full service history between Main Dealer and independents. Bit of an odd buying experience though, the dealer selling it insisted on picking me up from the Station and knew when I was coming in as I kept him updated - he was 30 mins late, I gave benefit of the doubt and assumed he’d of been having the car cleaned or something. No, it’s actually dirtier than I’ve ever let my cars get and needs a very, very good valet - of which I intend to do tomorrow afternoon myself 🧽 When did it become ok to sell a filthy car? We then drove 15 minutes back to a nondescript area of Wakefield where we pulled up on the side of the road and all of a sudden changed ownership on his phone. He then gave me his bank details and I transferred the money as the car had driven faultlessly on that test drive back to ‘his premises’. The guy was nice enough but it felt like he couldn’t wait to get rid of me, money hit his bank, he gave me the new keeper slip, shook my hand and said nice doing a deal with you, got out and walked off 👀 If I hadn’t done my due diligence I’d of genuinely thought the car was stolen or something. I then taxed the car, set my phone and Bluetooth transmitter up and got on the way home. It is an absolute pleasure to drive in fairness, that 221bhp V6 Diesel is powerful but lazy which suits the car so well. As you can see from the photos it averaged 44mpg on my 126 mile journey home. I stopped at Shell in Boston to fill it up with Diesel, something I can’t imagine I’ll be doing all too often ⛽️ Only other issues I can see is the scratches on the front bumper (I knew about) and there’s a scratch on the bonnet I’m hoping will polish out. It’s also due a service. It has a full set of Davanti Tyres on its tiny 16” Elegance wheels, all of which have tonnes of tread. Headlights could do with a polish maybe too. Oh and I paid £1695.00 for it 🤯 Really looking forward to sticking my dateless 3x3 plate on it and taking on our North Norfolk Coast getaway next week 😊 More photos in the replies below if you’ve gotten this far 😅

I did not know that it was my parrotlet Sokka’s last day today but it was at least a good one. He was on his playstand and playing in his paper bag fort while I was cooking. He doesn’t get fruit often because of the sugar content but I gave him some mango, to which he replied “om nom nom” in his tiny voice. which I taught him to say years ago when eating. I thought about what kind of fruit cake I could make him for his 10th birthday next month. But lucky for him I was also cooking peppers. Pepper seeds are his favorite thing on the planet and though I usually only give him one pepper’s worth today he got two. He was his normal peppy self most of the day. He had had two suspected seizure/stroke episodes starting exactly a year ago and this looked very much like this. They lasted half an hour and then he was back to being his spunky self again. I consulted the vet both times. I gave him a vitamin supplement the vet prescribed that I thought was working well. She did warn me that they could continue but he seemed to be doing well with the vitamins. I was just about to grab dinner down the street when I noticed he was quiet and standing at his food dish but not eating. Thank goodness I noticed so I could be there for him. I called up the emergency vet and let them know we were coming. Then Sokka got to have one last car ride. Sokka loved the car. He was always well behaved and we did many road trips together Including driving from Texas to Connecticut. On our way to the vet Sokka was very weak and fighting to stay conscious and was resting his head against the back of the carrier. But at one point he used all his strength to move to the front of the carrier so he could watch the sunset with me. I kept telling him “you’re a big bird!” and “he’s so cute!” because those are some of his favorite phrases to say, and during previous episodes he would say it back to me as he was recovering. I was half expecting him to fully recover before we got to the vet as he had done the other two times. But this time he wasn’t getting better and I could tell. We got to the vet and she said I did everything right but was not optimistic. Limiting stress is important with birds especially 1oz ones bc it can worsen their condition so she gave me my options for treatment and one of them was humane euthanasia. I held him in my hands and pet him knowing it could be the last time. I selected the option to see if the vet hospital could do anything for him. But shortly after I started driving he passed on the way to the vet hospital. At least he died doing what he loved, going for a ride in the car. I am relieved I did not have to make the most difficult choice to end his life for him, and that he went quickly and peacefully with a full belly of pepper seeds and mango and during one last sunset car ride. Some people will think “it’s just a bird” but those who know me understand how much he meant to me and how intelligent parrots are. Parrotlets are know for being a big personality in a tiny body. I got him a month after I graduated college and he’s been with me nearly 10 years since so basically my whole adult life. He was a big responsibility (that i don’t recommend to ppl without an exotic avian husbandry background) but I didn’t mind and now I feel a hole where those duties and companionship are no longer. If you actually read all or some of this, thank you, it means a lot to me, really. Going to be spending the next weeks just trying to ground myself and not fuck up my mental health again. I’ll share a separate more happy post about my favorite memories when I’m in the mood. Not gonna lie, I'm hyped too—really hyped—to see where Sicae takes us next. So here we are: another Sicae update is on the way to wrap up the first main story arc before we switch gears back to MBML. Yup, we're closing out the Gathering of the Forgotten Names series with Episode 7. Just to be crystal clear, this doesn't mean the game's over—not by a long shot. After Episode 7, we're diving into a whole new series that'll take us even deeper down the rabbit hole that is Sicae. And with the year almost coming to a close, I really want to take a second to thank all my patrons—especially the OGs who've been rocking with me since day one. You know who you are. Thank you for believing in me and this crazy project of ours. Moon "King" B-Roots is one of the worst liars and grifters I've ever come across in crypto and he just got deeply exposed and was caught in so many lies in spaces tonight. His whole persona revolves around making himself seem bigger and more important than he really is. He's been larping and grifting for so long and it finally all caught up with him. B-Roots likes to pretend he was some big influencer back in the day on youtube and twitter. I know that he wasn't, cause I was there and knew everyone and I damn sure never saw his goofy ass. I scanned his twitter and his earliest posts were from 2017 and averaged 1-2 likes and 90 percent of them are not even about crypto (you can verify this yourself using twitter advanced search with a date range from 2015-2018 He tried to hide his old youtube and for good reason, it only has 5k subscribers and his first video was in 2018. He tried really hard to hide this, but luckily I found it He shills pTGC because he was given a large six figure allocation to shill it and he never managed to sell...So he's desperate for it to pump again. He's lost almost all his money in Pulsechain at this point because HEX was his "savings account" (his own words in a video) Almost weekly he desperately shills orchestrated pump and dumps that get all his followers rekt because he uses them as exit liquidity and dumps on their heads after he shills it. There are so many coins he's shilled that are now completely rugged. He likes to point to a few lucky winners he's picked, but almost everything he's called he's been wrong about. He also admitted he just randomly picks coins to shill, with no due diligence. He's made wild claims like that Pulsechain will flip Solana and that Richard Heart was behind pdai and that it will peg to a dollar. When pressed on all these claims, he admitted he just makes them up to pump his bags. So basically he knew he was lying, but did it anyway for profits. There's so much more that got exposed, but you get the picture. This dude is deeply insecure and its very clear from his actions and desperate grifting that he's nowhere near as rich as he pretends to be. It's honestly sad. At one point he was getting exposed so bad he threatened to call my parole officer on me to report me 😅 It was very painful to witness him doubling down on every lie he got caught in, but I'm so glad he finally got exposed to such an extreme degree. It needed to happen. Nobody should take this clown seriously. He's a complete and total fraud and grifter who adds zero value to crypto. When will they learn to just keep my fuckin name outta their mouths lol

I have a story about addiction from a different perspective. A story where recovery was not possible. I have one sibling. An older brother. Everyone loved him. It was easy to love him. He died 10 years ago. It was a horrible death that took him 20 years to accomplish, dragging everyone who loved him along the way. He was an amazing musician. He didn't read music. No lessons. Hand him any instrument, and he can play it. He had a big heart. He was easily the funniest person I've ever known. And he is the only other human being who speaks fluent movie-script-quotes with precision and skill. But alcohol took over in his mid-20s. Bam Margera is just 2 years younger than my brother. He reminds me of my brother *so* much. Everything Bam and his family went through with his addiction is what my brother and family went through. My brother left high school because he was a gifted songwriter and musician. Bam left because he was a gifted skater. My brother was really into editing and producing films, and so is Bam. When Ryan Dunn died, and Bam went off the deep end, I was watching my brother do the same thing every time a strong emotion hit him, and he simply didn't know what to do with it. My brother was so beautiful on the outside, yet unrecognizable at the end. I can not tell you how many times my brother would go missing. Hundreds of times. He would sometimes go missing for up to a week. Then we'd get a call from the police or a hospital. Usually, the hospital would be first because he'd be near death. Then they would keep him on a 5150 at a mental health facility. Then he would come home. One time, he chased me with a knife in his hand, screaming he was going to kill me as I was running out of my parents' home on a cordless phone dialing 911. I found a fifth of vodka in his room and poured it down the drain. He went looking for it 20 minutes later, and it was empty...and I told him I poured it out. When I was 24 years old, I landed my first job that came with an office. My name was outside of it. I was stoked. I worked my ass off to get there. But there was no happiness at that time in my life. I remember my father calling me at work, sitting in that office, to say he was coming to pick me up because he knew where my brother, who had been missing for 4 days, was. The credit card he stole from my mother showed he was at a little oceanfront motel 10 minutes away. And I remember thinking to myself on the way over there...I have to open the motel room door. I can't let my dad see him hanging. It will destroy his life. I told my dad to wait about 10 feet to my left, and I opened the door, and there was my brother fashioning a sheet into a noose. Another time he went missing, and they found him on the roof of a building with the inside of his arms slashed from elbow to wrist, just lying in a pool of blood. Dark shit. Both of the insides of his arms were mutilated from being sliced open so many times. At least 30, if not more. He stopped wearing short-sleeved shirts in public about 10 years before he died. He got to the point of seizures when he withdrew and had alcohol-related dementia for the last 3 years of his life, which would come and go. Then one day, after 2 decades, he called my parents and said something was wrong. My parents went over to his place, ended up calling 911, the ambulance got there, and he started walking outside with assistance from paramedics and collapsed. In front of my parents. He was rushed to the hospital. I had not seen my brother for the last 9 years of his life. He disowned me. Because he felt he had to. He killed my dog when he got drunk 9 years before he died. No one knows if he meant to or not, he was so wasted. He couldn't face me after that. So he disowned me. And a piece of my heart died the day he did it. I talked to my parents right before they left to see what was wrong that day. The last thing I said to my dad was, "Do not let him die without me having an opportunity to say goodbye." My dad called me from the er 2 hours later and said, "You should come over now. He won't know you're here." When I got there, I was shocked at what I saw. He wasn't the right color. He was in a coma. Severe internal bleeding. On life support. It was jarring even after seeing him in a much similar state hundreds of times for such a long time. He was taken to the ICU 3 hours later, where they would transfuse blood by the bag damn near constantly, and it just shot out of his nose. It was bloody. A lot of blood. After about 6 hours, I told my parents to go home and get some rest. I would stay with him. And I talked to him like he was right there. Like one of the hundreds of pillow-fort slumber parties we had as kids. Like no time had passed, and his addiction never existed. I showed him pictures of my life over the past decade on my phone...just like he was there. But he wasn't there. And after 3 hours and extensive talks with several doctors and specialists, I had to make the decision to remove his life support. After my parents returned and said goodbye, I told them to wait out in the hall until he passed because I could not allow them to have the memory of him dying, and I returned to my brother's side, and said what I needed to say, bawling my heart out. I told them to turn off the machines, and I held him in my arms as he died. It took just over 7 minutes. And I just held him. I had Nine Inch Nails playing for him. One of his favorites thanks to Pretty Hate Machine. He was a fan for life after that. He was my best friend. But he was also someone I had to protect myself from if he was intoxicated. This is the end that usually becomes a reality for addicts and their families. Then there's someone like Bam Margera. He went to the same place my brother went to in his head. And he came back. Bam is one of the greatest comebacks ever and a story of recovery worth knowing. I see YouTube shorts of Bam skating again every day, and I'm so moved that I just sit here and cry. You can see his personality is back. You have no idea how rare that is. Their personality shows very little while they're in their addiction. Recovery stories are incredibly personal to so many people, including those who have gone through addiction with an addict because they love them so much...they'd see anything they had to see and endure anything they have to endure just to be there with them at their lowest point. Addicts are not monsters. The stuff they use to numb the pain they do not understand is the real monster. And when you put enough of that into a human being, they do things they would *never* do without it. People are not pure. We are more complex than that. We are good and bad. Light and dark. Right and wrong. Chaotic and serene. You will find that the answer to every question you have about life is usually "both" for a reason. Because one can not exist without the other. With recovery stories like Hunter Biden's and Bam Margera's out in the ether, more people will be less ignorant as to how this disease plays out, and that will do nothing but good for so many families struggling with this issue. Addiction isn't just for the addict. Addiction is for everyone who loves them, as well. It's just a different perspective of hell. So listen to recovery stories with renewed respect because most addicts end up the way it ended for the only sibling I'll ever have.

Confession time: apparently I've been living under a rock (go ahead, say it, I’ll wait). Every time someone said "trans furry" I genuinely thought it just meant Lance was transgender. I thought it was a term someone came up with since some people identify as furry animals 😅. In my defense, I did see the photo of Lance in the furry getup. I just filed it under "that's Lance being Lance" and moved on with my life. Then Candace's podcast happened yesterday & I learned that furries are an ACTUAL thing. The wife of Charlie’s medical examiner is a furry with a special interest in the gaming community 🤔. Naturally, I asked someone close to me for confirmation (even after Candace shared what a furry was), and they hit me with "oh yeah, that's real, the costumes are expensive. Look it up!" like this was common knowledge I'd somehow missed the memo on. I looked it up. Turns out it's called a "fursuit" and they run anywhere from $200 for a DIY kit to $10,000+ for the professional, custom bodysuit. So consider this your permission to feel superior today 😃. My next question is, was Tyler a furry that we know of or was it just his roommate Lance? Is Lance even trans or are they pushing this “trans furry” thing so that conservatives who don’t like to conduct their own research simply believe the narrative being shoved down everyone’s throats & go around saying “yup, a trans furry killed Charlie.” Think about why they are saying Lance is transgender & not gay. Why not a “gay furry”? Or just a furry? Furry alone would seem strange to some. Well, modern conservative politics & media currently focus more on opposing transgender people than gay, lesbian, or bisexual individuals. They know that “trans” will get conservatives fired up & yell, “He did it! Give him the death penalty!” without giving it a second thought. This was intentional. Sloppy, but intentional. Maybe Lance is a trans furry. I don’t know, but what I do know - based on what has been shown & not shown - is that Tyler Robinson didn’t “shoot” Charlie Kirk. Two weeks ago I booked tickets to see Count Binface performing live in London, which seemed like a quirky fun thing to do 🗑️ Then Nigel Farage and the media furore happened, and somehow I randomly ended up being the only journalist in the audience last night at the sold-out gig (many journalists had begged to attend to no avail, apparently) 😅 The veteran journalist John Sweeney John Sweeney interviewed him live on stage in the style of Jeremy Paxman and then it was opened up to the floor. Overall, it was a very funny gig - John Harvey seemed to view the whole week is rather surreal. I think some of the best material he’d planned for the gig he’d already used on air, so he was literally ad-libbing satire on the spot based on what questions he was asked, which is pretty impressive given that the room was also not air-conditioned and so we were all sweating in close quarters for an hour and 20 minutes. I also met one of his supposed supporters, who has been funding him at the rate of £3 a month for the last 15 years 💷 (in answer to the, “who is funding him?” question) Here are some gems from the night 💎: - Count Binface clearly really detests Nigel Farage - Count Binface pledges to put David Attenborough on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square - On the topic of AI stealing creative content and taking over our jobs, Count Binface wants to “stop the bots!” and thinks we should break into OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman’s house in the middle of the night steal his DNA to create a “Sam Altman AI” - Count Binface admits he is “weak on uncontrolled immigration” given that he is an alien that travelled to Earth to stand as a joke candidate, but he says that he is holding back the rest of the spaceships from invading Earth 🚀 - However he did admit that he is an intergalactic space warrior who is bent on dominating mankind (I’m kind of up in the air about whether Clacton should vote for him now) - The Count Binface helmet does come with some sort of cooling device, but sadly he left it in the dressing room last night before the gig 🫠 - Overall Count Binface said that he just really cares about democracy, and he doesn’t think we should count on him to become a member of Parliament or any other kind of statesmen. In fact, he would like to get only *just* enough votes to prevent Farafe from being elected. - He just feels it’s important for the public to have the option to spoil their vote in order to express displeasure at current policies and politicians - And John Sweeney has challenged Nigel Farage to submit for a live onstage interview (highly unlikely, methinks) P.S. I did the ticketing myself online, right? I only paid attention to the time (when i booked it) and went, but when i looked at the ticket, i was like "Huh? Stage greeting?... stage greeting?" Then we just went with it. Usually, don't they (the casts) come out before the movie? It was like that for me back then, but seems like things have changed a lot lately. So after watching, well since it's a family movie... have anyone here watched it? If you've watched it, you'd have a hard time eating mom's meals (because it's emotional) 😟 me and dad cried... we were seated in the order of dad, mom, my little sister, and me. All of the sudden, my little sister went "Oppa, are you crying?" and i went "...No, i'm getting sleepy, i yawned" then my mom from the side went "Hey! Your dad is crying! 2x" ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ because the movie is kinda more about mom and sons... anyway, after watching it, all the fans went down right? And i'm not lying, only the 4 of us were still seated, at the middle of the very back row, for real! (The casts) who came to do the stage greeting probably only could see us, only my family! So i sat with my glasses like this *lowers head*. Also, i know actress Gong Seungyeon because we were trainees together, we did our trainee period together, so i thought to myself "Oh, well, Seungyeonie worked hard, she's amazing", then the problem starts! I thought they'd only greet and leave! But at stage greetings these days, the casts goes all the way up and take selfies!!!... i was really sorry to one of the casts... one of the actors, i don't know his name 😣 went all the way up to the end and was like 👀 so i (refused the selfie) and told him "Ah, it's fine 😅" and i feel really sorry to that person!! 😣 i'd ask a picture with him if we meet again... after that, i was like "No way, Seungyeon-ah please don't come up here! 2x" inside my heart, i was like "Don't come up! 5x" and she came right up to there, she was coming up while smiling, and as soon as she saw me, she went "Oh oppa! 😲" so i was like "Oh ㅋㅋ hey! 👋 i'm with my family! 😊" and all of a sudden, she went "EVERYONE!! XIUMIN-SSI IS HERE!!" ... 😊😊😊 really, i was seating when that happened and went oh my! then all the people in front turned their head around and looked at me going "What!? 2x" ha.... inside, i was like "I'm doomed, i'm in a huge problem, i'm don't even have make up on and my face is bloated..." as my face gets red, and then Choi Wooshik-ssi came! Ending VA Benefits For Veterans The Federal Government Says This Will Save The Deficit $250 Billions Dollars Over The Next 10 Years Not all benefits are ending but for those whose family makes over a certain amount, they will cut your VA benefits “The federal government is proposing to stop and deny disability benefits to veterans who are already receiving disability benefits. And, if you don't quite understand what that means, let me break that down. Uncle Jerry, who was in Vietnam and lost both of his legs, made too much money last year and now the disability payments that he got for not having his legs are gonna be denied. So he will get 0 money to assist him in his life after losing his legs in service because he made a couple extra dollars more than what the federal government said that he should. Let's break this tidal wave of idiocy down so you could be as furious as I am. This might be the biggest topic I've ever tackled on this frickin' channel. Do you know who the congressional budget office is? I sure as hell don't. But apparently, it's the administration, the presidencies, this current presidency's way of trying to cut the slack. Find ways to spend less money. Hey, I'm all for that. That makes sense. Right? We're kinda Inflation's up a little bit. Normally a pretty boring job like an IRS auditor, but they put out a report, a suggestion, an option is what they call it, in order to lower the deficit, save about $250,000,000,000 over the next 10 years. And it's to take away benefits from veterans who have already been receiving benefits because they're disabled. It's like pulling the carpet out from somebody inside of crutches. It's like pushing an old lady in a wheelchair down the stairs. Throw in a clip of that. Now you might say AC, how? How could this possibly the stupid Stupid idea. How could this possibly, like, move forward? How and where is it even written here just saying a bunch of political mumbo jumbo? Give me riled up. Nope. Just as a heads up, all the links are gonna be below so you can read it for yourself. And, well, let's just get into this, shall we? A means test. VA disability compensation for veterans with higher income. Now what does a means test mean? Well, it's very simple. It means that if you can afford it, that means that you ain't gonna get no benefits. So if you got some money in the bank, You are not going to receive any compensation for your injuries you sustained and confirmed and under are receiving them while overseas or serving. Kind of like these people they're about to describe. In 2021, 5,200,000 veterans received disability compensation from the VA because of medical conditions. About 280,000. 4% of them receive compensation for the first time this year. Service connected disabilities vary widely in severity and type and include loss sublimb anxiety. You mean spicy memories, AKA PTSD? And hearing loss. Oh, great. You're listing out the people that will no longer be receiving their benefits because of those injuries that they received. Really make yourself the good guys. These are truly charitable angels because they're stopping giving money to the injured people that they sent overseas. 2022 base compensation rates range from a 150 to $3,330 per month. So $3,330 a month tax free is the maximum you can get for losing a leg overseas. Alright. We should probably take that away from them, the lazy Fox, not even walking around anymore, scooting around on a wheelchair. Okay. Let's continue. Here's my favorite paragraph that tells you the mindset of these dopes that wrote this up. In 2021, the VA paid out about a 110,000,000,000 in disability benefits, 4 times the amount that it paid in 2,000. Even though the number of veterans in the United States declined by more than 30%. 🔴JK🌟Was LIVE | 6.28.26 | 4 hours As one of the lucky ones who was able to watch JK’s four-hour live last night, I wanted to share what I took away from it. Fair warning: this is a long one… but he did give us four hours of content. 😅 Read if you’d like! First, and most importantly, Jungkook wants us to see him for who he is: a responsible adult who is capable of making his own decisions. He wants people to stop questioning every choice he makes, every word he says, and every aspect of how he lives his life. He is happy. He told us himself, “I’m so good.” He takes his health and well-being seriously, and he knows what works for him. He works hard, and like many adults, enjoys winding down sometimes with good food, alcohol, or both. He’s naturally nocturnal and thrives on the schedule that suits him. He doesn’t need unsolicited advice about how he should sleep or live. After the show, he went out to eat with the members, before returning to his hotel to film the dance challenge, which took over 50 takes. It was another reminder of how much pride he takes in his work. He always wants to show us, and himself, the very best he can do. Right now, he’s immersed in dance. He’s studying locking, krumping, and other house styles because he genuinely wants to become an even better dancer. He wants keep sharing dance challenges with us, because that’s one of the ways he can give us something new right now. He said he doesn’t actually listen to music that often, unless it is connected to a dance video, but when he does, he’s been enjoying a lot of music from his fellow idols, especially girl groups. He even shared a few songs he’s been playing on repeat lately. He’s also been enjoying anime, talking about several series he’s been watching and how excited he is for the next season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. He spoke honestly about learning English. He has a teacher, and he wants to improve, but it’s difficult and he simply doesn’t have enough time to devote to it. At the same time, he made it clear, again, that he doesn’t want people constantly asking or telling him to speak English. As he has said so many times: “I don’t speak English. I’m Korean.” If you choose to watch his lives, stop asking for it! One of the most candid moments was hearing him talk about big brand events. He admitted that they make him uncomfortable, saying Taehyung loves them and is much better at them. Small talk doesn’t come naturally to him, and he gets shy with all the eye contact. But, like the professional he is, he has learned how to do it well, because it’s part of his job, and because he genuinely appreciates the brands he works with, speaking warmly once again about his Calvin Klein collaboration. And then there’s what has always been part of Jungkook’s core: singing. He simply loves to sing. He loves exploring his voice, learning new techniques, experimenting with different genres, and constantly improving. He watches YouTube vocal tutorials to keep growing. Karaoke isn’t just fun for him, it’s practice, exploration, and another way to become a better artist. Listening to him sing throughout the live was a gift. Beautiful, playful, effortless, and unmistakably Jungkook. His performance of “Into the Sun” was my personal highlight, with perfectly placed vocal runs, delicate high notes, and emotion woven into every line. This is only a small part of what Jungkook shared with us over those four hours. I’m incredibly grateful that he gave us so much of his time, his thoughts, his laughter, and his music. My biggest takeaway is this: if you choose to log into his lives, then let him live. Keep your cringy comments to yourself. He doesn’t want to see them, and neither do we. In 2018, Jeff Bezos sat down for a 70-minute interview with David Rubenstein in front of Washington's most powerful crowd and explained exactly how he thinks, decides and lives. He didn't lecture on algorithms or logistics once. He talked about knee pads, regret and going to bed early: 1. Three good decisions a day is enough Most executives think leadership means firing off calls nonstop. Bezos rejects that entirely. He explained that "As a senior executive, you get paid to make a small number of high quality decisions." Then he made the number explicit: "If I make, like, three good decisions a day, that's enough. And they should be as high quality as I can make them." 2. Protect the hours when your brain actually works He doesn't schedule his day randomly. He books his hardest thinking early and is honest about when he runs out of gas. "I like to do my high IQ meetings before lunch," he says. "Because by 5 p.m., I'm like, 'I can't think about that today. Let's try this again tomorrow.'" 3. Sleep is a strategic decision, not a luxury Bezos ran the maths on cutting his sleep to squeeze in more decisions and rejected it outright, asking "Is that really worth it if the quality of these decisions might be lower because you're tired, or grouchy or any number of things?" For him the answer was simple: "I think better, I have more energy, my mood is better." 4. Puttering in the morning isn't wasted time He doesn't rush into his inbox the second he wakes up. "I like to putter in the mornings. I like to read the newspaper. I like to drink coffee." That slow start is what makes the sharp decisions later in the day possible. 5. Trust your gut on the decisions that matter most Most founders assume the biggest calls need the most data. Bezos found the opposite. But it turns out in life that your most important decisions are always made with instinct and intuition." 6. Everything you're impressed by started small People meet Bezos now and see a trillion-dollar company. He remembers something else. "Everything I've ever done has started small. It's hard to remember for you guys, but for me it's like yesterday I was driving the packages to the post office myself and hoping one day we could afford a forklift." 7. The best idea in the room usually isn't yours Early on, Bezos was packing boxes on a concrete floor at 1am and pitched a fix for his aching knees. He admits "I didn't have packing tables. I said to one of the software engineers who was packing alongside me, 'You know what we should do? We should get knee pads.'" The engineer wasn't impressed. "And he looked at me like I was the dumbest guy he had ever seen in his life, and he said 'Jeff, we should get packing tables.'" Bezos didn't defend his own idea. He bought the tables the next day. 8. Don't feel smarter when the stock goes up Amazon's share price has swung wildly for two decades, and Bezos has trained his whole company not to read into the swings. He repeats a version of this line at every all-hands: "When the stock is up 30 percent in a month, don't feel 30 percent smarter, because when the stock is down 30 percent in a month, it's not going to feel so good to feel 30 percent dumber." He leans on the Buffett line he can't stop quoting, that "in the short run the stock market is a voting machine, in the long run it's a weighing machine." 9. Regret is about the things you didn't try Weighing whether to leave a stable Wall Street job to sell books on the internet, Bezos didn't build a spreadsheet. He thought about which choice he'd regret more at 80. His conclusion: "Our regrets are acts of omission, they're things we didn't try, it's the path untraveled." That single idea, more than any business plan, is what got Amazon started. 10. Being scrutinised is the price of being big, not something personal Asked about regulators and critics circling the tech industry, Bezos didn't get defensive. "All big institutions of any kind are going to be and should be examined, scrutinized, inspected," he said. Then he added the line that reframes the whole thing: "It's not personal, it's kind of what we as a society want to have happen." Here's the thing though.... Bezos didn't need to give this interview. He was already the richest man alive before he sat down with Rubenstein that night. But by then he'd already made himself public, buying a newspaper, showing up on stages, letting cameras into rooms most billionaires avoid. Steve Jobs gave a 15-minute speech at Stanford in 2005 that still changes lives today: "Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories." Story 1: Connecting the dots "I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months. I couldn't see the value in it. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, and here I was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. So I decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out. It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back, it was one of the best decisions I ever made." Steve shares what happened next: "Because I had dropped out, I decided to take a calligraphy class. I learned about serif and sans-serif typefaces, about varying the space between letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh, it all came back to me. It was the first computer with beautiful typography." He reflects: "You can't connect the dots looking forward. You can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. Believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it leads you off the well-worn path." Story 2: Love and loss "At 30, I got fired from Apple, the company I started. What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone. It was devastating. I was a very public failure, and I even thought about running away from the valley." Steve explains what saved him: "But something slowly began to dawn on me, I still loved what I did. The turn of events at Apple had not changed that one bit. I had been rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over." He shares what came next: "Getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again. During the next five years, I started NeXT, started Pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife. I'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn't been fired from Apple." His advice: "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life. The only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle." Story 3: Death "When I was 17, I read a quote: 'If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right.' Since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: 'If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?' And whenever the answer has been 'No' for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something." Steve shares why death is such a powerful tool: "Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Almost everything, all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure, these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart." He concludes: "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." His final words: "Stay Hungry. So these are boys colleges taking on women's colleges. And it was like, why wouldn't you? You know, I was from a boys and girls comp, but we had to go through that." CV, "You had to be the first woman to do this. First woman from a state school. Northwest goes Cambridge first. You know, I was, I think, when I did engineering, There were about 300 students in our year, four or five of them were girls. I worked underground, me and 2,000 men, all this." CV, "So we have done the hard years over decades, all that. I wanted to be a fighter pilot. You can't, because you're a girl and you don't have the appendage that's required. You know, all of this nonsense that we had to put up with. So, for me, that this Reform Party is saying on day one, they would repeal the Equality act." CV, "And we all know what that means. So, you know, the protections against harassment of women in the workplace, the, equal pay, maternity leave, maternity pay, all of those. We're going to scrap all those. So it is indicative of the way in which this might go, as we've seen in America." JOB, "I think talking of ordinary men, the person who pushed back against him on social media was. It was a rather better model of masculinity." CV, "Yes, absolutely. So he's the author, Chris Ryan, who is a former SAS hero, a very successful author. Chris is his pen name. And, he absolutely defended me because he is a real man." CV, "He's not a pretend. He's a real guy and a guy who respects women." JOB, "I suppose, in some sense, the writing was on the wall with the leadership of reform who have not responded by the way, to, our, requests a, response to these allegations of misogyny, including the comments directed at you." JOB, "But when James McMurdoch Ended up in Parliament just after the last election, and, it quickly emerged that he'd been jailed for attacking a former girlfriend." CV, "Yes. And here is another example, a very serious example of, to me, reforms, excuses for things. So I think it was a Times newspaper fact he only got in with a majority of 98." CV, "So imagine if this information had been available beforehand about him. So, shortly after he was elected in 2024 as a Reform MP, I think it was a Times newspaper, found that he had been convicted and served time for, assaulting his girlfriend." CV, "He then said in his defense, oh, it was a push. Then the official court documents show that she was on the floor. He was kicking her multiple times while she was on the floor and had to be, dragged away by two security guards." CV, "Very different stories. And, well, also his mother is on telly as well, so, you know, he or she at, at least will be aware of the misogyny that police. Yeah, yeah. You think that that might have given him a slightly more sensitive insight into what it's like for women like you. And, and you are tough. I mean, I don't mean that in a patronizing way." CV, "I take it as a compliment." JOB, "Good, I'm glad you do because you are perfectly capable of looking after yourself. A lot of women, both online and offline, are not, of course, and those are the kind of women that, misogynistic men prey on." CV, "But the thing is, I, I have a tough skin now because of all of the abuse over decades. And it. You know, I can remember when I wore a short skirt to the BAFTAs. I was age 39. Well, it was like I'd killed my grandmother the next day." CV, "It was the quest. Even the BBC made a whole Kilroy show about it. Flew this dress in copy dress from Paris. And, the question was, should a woman age 39 wear a dress above the knee? Jeez, I mean, that's my lifetime. This isn't Victorian days or my mother or post war." CV, "This is me in my lifetime. So, you know, as I go back to the beginning, women my age who love the fact that our daughters or nieces, or grandchildren have, can play football, you know, very happily can be applauded for what they do in sport." CV, "Can be. Oh, another thing that I'll, Kenyon said was that women can't referee, drive, take directions. And he had a go at various female sports presenters on the telly. You know, it's constant, it's consistent." JOB, "So they're not, they're not up to the job. They're only there to tick a box. And then declaring and From a political point of view, this is interesting actually stating I'm sexist. Sorry, but I am." CV, "Yeah." JOB, "And then the defense from reform UK becomes. CV, "So the whole business of, oh, well, we're going to scrap the law that says about equal pay. That's going to affect people directly. And this is what I want people to understand, really. This is. This is not just about a woman getting on a high horse about something." CV, "This is very, very, very. Couldn't be more serious." JOB, "And, yeah, it is, of course, people like Nigel Farage and Sarah Potchin who claim that they're the party dedicated to protecting women and children. I mean, it's beyond irony. It emerged yesterday that one in five of the people arrested over the riots in 2024, which many people feel were fermented by Nigel Farage's social media activ." JOB, "Five of the people arrested over those riots have since been reported to the police for domestic abuse.
