Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji today performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Kaziranga Elevated Corridor Project on NH-715 at Kaliabor, Assam. The corridor will connect Kaliabor and Numaligarh and includes a 35-km elevated wildlife stretch, a bypass section, and four-laning of key stretches along the boundary of Kaziranga National Park, with an investment exceeding ₹6,950 crore. Designed to ensure safe wildlife movement, reduce human–animal conflict, and enhance road safety, it will significantly strengthen sustainable connectivity across Assam.

The final link of the Santacruz–Chembur Link Road is now open, completing the integrated 10.30-km SCLR network between the Eastern Express Highway and the Western Express Highway. The 1.40-km Bharat Nagar Road (University Area)–Vakola Junction Elevated Corridor, built under SCLR Extension Phase II, marks the final and critical link in a network developed progressively since the original SCLR opened.
