The kids don’t understand.

Criminal that he’s not in the HOF

That was my original hero when I was a kid.

My favorite Patriot on offense ever. Big Ben "Winter" Coates

Probably most underrated NFL player all time

Big Ben was utterly nasty and my favorite growing up, the original 87

ben coates was my favorite player as a kid

Bledsoe to Ben Coates - the birth of the new Patriots

Ben “Winter” Coates!

He was amazing. Still there is a rule about highlight footage featuring the Miami Dolphins on the opposing team that is not being observed here.

Ben!!!!

One of the best tight ends ever He could do it all very similar to gronkowski very underrated

The OG he deserves to to have his number retired along with another and another one

I ment Coats as a kid at Patriots training camp. He talked with me for while. Always was of my favorite players since.

Ben was a beast

One of my favorite autos I have “the OG 87”

I put him and Nomar in the same category. Their peak was Hall of Fame level but not long enough.

Dude could ball.., the og gronk

OG Gronk, I wonder if Bill saw a lot of Coates in Gronk or envisioned he’d become so great as he did.

He's much more athletic than I remembered. A Patriot all timer!!

Straight unit!

The Perkins system has been run in NE for long time. Only one year it wasnt. The Mayo year we tried to be a West Coast team

He was Gronk before Gronk.

Good highlights

@ZoandBertrand Scott’s boy

The original 87

Ben was Gronk before Gronk.

That was my very first Jersey ever. He was so fast. People have no idea!

He was a BEAST

The big ass shoulder logos were so goofy but would be interesting as throwbacks

Before Gronk there was Big Ben Coats

He was an amazing TE he doesn't get the recognition that he deserves simply because they didn't win any championships

Gronk before Gronk.

He and Curtis Martin were their best offensive players.

Big Ben!

Gronk before Gronk
