Abdi is reportedly set to become a presidential adviser for Kurdish affairs and will be based in Damascus. He also said there is a preliminary understanding on Kurdish-language education. Without elaborating, he said “it can be built on,” indicating that this is not yet a final or concrete agreement on education.
