This scene is one of the best in all of Star Wars. Magical, wise, and funny.

Oh yeah the scene where Yoda tells Luke "we are what they grow beyond. That is the burden of all masters" while Luke hasn't grown beyond anyone or learned anything. Such a dumb movie.

rage bait -Ruined Luke’s character -LOTS OF LOGICAL ISSUE -Bad humor -Wasted Snoke -Finn’s useless trash subplot -Leia flying scene -Woke and feminist -Cringe -Rey is a Mary Sue character and has no training at all -Copies scenes from the original trilogy -Really bad writing

“The Luke Skywalker desired for by The Last Jedi haters is a flat, boring, and forgettable character.” Anyway… here’s the only good canon onscreen depiction of Luke Skywalker post Return of The Jedi:

Everyone likes to pull Mark Hamill's quotes from interviews about how he "fundamentally disagreed" with Rian Johnson's vision for Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi. They conveniently ignore that months later, Mark said this about The Last Jedi and Luke.

Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to animate for Episode 3 of Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi. The sequence explores Lah Zhima’s backstory and his first steps on the path to becoming a Jedi.
