middle east american sniper movie protagonists be like

For context. These Orcs are Carnivores. They only eat meat. Yes even Humans. They had a treaty with the human population on the Island. If the Orcs stopped eating humans, the humans would supply them with Meat. This worked for some time. But eventually the Orc population grew too large for the Humans to supply while also keeping themselves feed and healthy. Had they not killed the Orcs. It would have likely led to a break down of the treaty and war anyway. This saved human lives at the cost of the Orcs. It’s grimm, but it’s the truth of reality. Sometimes the us or them mentality is enforced by necessity. This was one such case. This was brutal. But they are a few humans against big Orcs. Had they not played dirty, they wouldn’t have won. Not without injuries anyway. It was morally wrong to kill the child. But the reality is that. Had they not, she would have come back years later. Sought out revenge and likely massacred the whole Island. Basically Suicidal Empathy. The Show does well to show the reality of other intelligent species. This outright changes the MCs moral compass later on. Anime like this don’t hold back. Don’t like it? Move on. It’s called «I’m Standing on a Million Lives».

*Orcs destroy human village. *The King sends an army. *The army destroys the Orc encampment. "ORCS ARE PEOPLE TOO!"

I feel no sympathy for him. You literally kidnapped the kid, threw her into the lava, saw him stop attacking you to save the kid and you come and knock them both into the lava and have the audacity to cry about it like you had morals? Can we switch him and Guts? Guts would never.

Thanks for the reminder to never watch this piece of shit.

Vaya cagada más pretenciosa y edgy, que perra necesidad hay de matar una niña que ni se puede defender. En vez de verse como un prota pragmático se ve como un pedazo de mierda que no puedo esperar a que muera de alguna forma brutal

"I hate killing out of convenience" *throws a kid into lava* I think there was a more humane way of doing this dawg

I’m Standing on a Million Lives (2020)

excuse me, what was that about throbbing dick while impaling that orc's skull with a spear in the first like 15 seconds??

So goblins are the good guys now 😭

What in the Israel is this

no remorse kill them all until it is done

Can't believe that to this day there are people who fall for the "hey look, the monsters who spent the arc pillaging, enslaving, and eating this island's people have happy family lives" propaganda, especially when half these comments didn't watch the show to know that context

same thing

Anime tryed to paint this arc as morally ambiguous. Orcs invaded the insland, demanded food, outbreed and when the humans could not keep up the orcs stole the food started raiding villages to eat humans. Now... why that sounds like an analogy? lol

I'm starting to understand why this anime wasn't popular

Already hate this anime

So is this like the end of shiki where if you watch it out of context you're like "humans are the real monsters" but if you watch it in context its like "Fuck yeah! Total monster death! Woo!"

MC thought the world they transported in is a game world and he later find out that those he killed are real humans and living entity, living their own lives.

This was one of the most f'd up episodes in anime. He literally tortures a child, drops her in lava so that her guardian will attempt to protect her. The hero deserves to die.

What is this rude meditation on brutality why is the guy participating

So tired of anti humanity bullshit. Especially in anime where only humans are bad actors.

Idc abt orc killing wtf was the blond dude abt?

Nah, fuck them orcs, they also attacked others.

So when does the main character become likeable?

Oh c'mon. "The demons are people too" This is lazy subversion.

English: I'm Standing on a Million Lives Japanese: 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatte Iru

That final smile hurt more than the whole fight 😭. You can argue about the protagonist all day, but that moment was just heartbreaking
