If you want to support my content, tipping is the best way to do so - thank you 💛

Feedback is highly appreciated as this is my first ever proper tutorial 🙏

notify people that by display scaling the way you're doing, anyone using monitor audio will lose it and they can restore it by using the reset-all.exe file. also i'm not 100% sure that display scaling works on all monitors

didn't know about that, thank you for telling me!

I'm working on a V2 of this guide, as I found some flaws in my method and people were having issues. ▶️ Add your stretched resolution to "Detailed resolutions" @ 60 Hz ▶️ Use DHK (Display Hot Keys) instead of HRC (HotKey Resolution Changer)

May I ask this, I’m currently using a 4070ti super, paired with the ASUS ROG strix Tandem OLED, I can’t create custom res due to DDC support to push the 540HZ, can this be bypassed with this software?

@Kwan_exe I mention it all in my video! check out the full YouTube video here and look at the DSC chapter:

So I ended up trying to finally trying this and seems my monitor doesn’t like it at all! I read a few comments and seems like a few other have the same thing, seems to be ASUS monitors! I have the 540/720hz tandem OLED! DM me if you want to test anything I can jump on call

@Kwan_exe For anyone reading this, we figured out the issue:

insane video, gonna give it a try today

On Valorant, its not true stretched. even following the video linked in the desc until 0:58, but when I disable my monitor in device manager it works, is it supposed to be like that or am I doing something wrong? Im also using the Display Hot Keys aswell

yes! you still need to disable the other monitors in device manager

I only have one monitor, and I disabled that main one and then it worked. btw thank you for helping

Ty goat, now I can tab in and out from the finals without having to deal with black screen ever again. When will you upload discord optimization guide?

Next week, gonna' cover it in my optimization guide that's mainly focused on Marvel Rivals but will cover many other things 🫡

Its a nice method and tut but i dont think vanguard would like this tbh, ill stick to disable monitors method and 1568x1080 since it works well

hmmm the tutorial I mentoin and have linked in my youtube description does exactly that though, doesn't it? you just disable your other displays and swap res with control panel and that's it

Borderless in cs2 isnt great its pretty blurry for some reason

So my display never saved after the restart64 step

@Awflito hmmm, that's weird - what GPU are you on?

4070 ti

@Awflito interesting, did you make sure to start CRU in administrator mode?

Maybe you could help me out later 👀🫡

is this bannable on val?

according to someone I know who works in the industry, no, as long as you don't touch the config

thanks goat

any benefits of stretch res in the finals?

it's the same for almost all games - slightly higher framerate, wider targets

@NoKlairity

nice and fast tutorial, what did you use to make windows explorer icons smaller and colorful? How did u edit spacing between folder? thanks

thank you! that's a part of @EvolveOpt

@EvolveOpt Thanks, I will check it out even if already optimize my pc, I would like to have similar smaller icons and better spacing

watching a CRU tutorial brings me back to when they got rid of stretched in fort

all of this to do in order to be destroyed by 11y.o. kid playing full XD on microwave

real 💀

Even on 2560x1440 oled

yeah that's what I use

@EvolveOpt mentioned

will this work on val with an OLED monitor? the previous method got patched and i’ve been looking for a different way since

Works great so far from what I've heard, if it doesn't work, check this out

My goat

Goated

Followed your guide from the beginning couple of times and I cant set my resolution to 2304x1440 on my 27GX790A-B monitor (480hz with DSC). Followed everything you did, but after restart64.exe, gpu gets restarted and I cant go above 60hz (native resolution)

Please try this I'll make sure to get my new guide up asap! Also working on writing a new app for all of this to make it more user friendly for everyone.

Don’t put it to fullscreen than your automatic on gpu scaling no matter what Put it on no scaling and but your monitor into full in your osd than you have true display scaling

noted, I'll look at this, thank you!

merci

you're welcome!

But increase input latency?

absolutely not, if anything, there's a chance of improving it since you're using display scaling with CRU

Borderless window? I dont know about that one… my whole point for using cru is to reduce input delay by forcing display scaling, using windowed mode just shits on all of that. The way i use cru is i have diff profiles for

What do i do if i dont have the DisplayID and only the CTA option do i have to add it manually ? If so what do i have to do then ?

@lorenzosdesign

Also I think it depends on the monitor because this way is still not working for me so I use SRE

hmmm that will enforce GPU-scaling though, I don't mind it but some people want true display scaling

I’ll try it again

just disable ur monitor in device manager and ur good 😋

no one going to question the wireshark???

HAHAHAHAHA
