People complaining about long summons in FFIX clearly never played it as it was the first FF to give you the option of shortening the animation to just a few seconds.

I've always thought that big attacks like this should have multiple hits for continuous damage indications in the animation as they do damage. Because the end damage result is always so much less impressive than it should be, lmao.

Sadly we go through all of that to get it and that long animation for it to be capped at 9999. Was always disappointing.

I always loved this callback. It’s my favorite Summon in FFIX. Fenrir too.

"Ahhh Ark's full animation, enough time to go make a sandwich!" I really miss this level of extra for a single non-lethal attack xD
