The last time Jordan Staal was in a Stanley Cup Final:

Versus and doc emrick hockey

Turned Raflaski into a road cone. So good

Surprising, given how defensively disciplined Rafalski was from his time with the Devils.

Maybe the most important goal of that series. He was magnificent in Pittsburgh.

Mellon arena and Chris Osgood lol

Still my profile picture all these years later

Peak NHL

How many more cups would the pens have if they could have kept him as part of the core? They had the best young centers in the game and he was 3rd line. That would have been a greater dynasty than Edmonton or the Islanders.

Won the cup right there

This is what a true broadcast looks and sounds like. I haven’t forgot about that series strictly because of the broadcast

One of the best goals in Stanley cup final history

I miss verses

Fucking glorious memories

Can’t help but get choked up hearing the 🐐 make the call, too. Really wish Doc was at least still calling the Finals!

The series that transformed the nhl into a young man's league

He’s one of the good guys!! Go canes!!

That goal was enormous.

Ah yes the bought and paid for cup of 2009

Most critical moment of that series.

I was in that crowd outside. Great memories!

Chris Osgood in net is absolutely crazy

So much fun to watch.

And then PIT traded him to CAR during his wedding 😬

Most elite era of hockey I was blessed to witness

I miss that dude

No thanks

I still say this is the most important Penguins goal of that entire playoff. If Staalsy doesn’t put it in net right there, I think that series was over and five games, six max.

One of the most important goals in franchise history.

I was in 10th grade, Seth.

Man what a time to be alive

Stanley Cub Winner!!!!

Are they gonna rig this one too like in 09?
