He appears to have signed up dozens of prisoners across Sydney’s jails, presumably through kick backs to the prisoners or their families. He then billed the government for 24/7 disability care support, which the Australian government proceeded to pay with no questions asked. Jamal’s company, Freedom Care Group, was the only NDIS provider ever listed on the Australian stock market - the ASX. They managed to raise $3.2 million from investors while running this prisoner harvesting scheme. This fraudulent prisoner-harvesting scheme would still be going on today were it not for a courageous whistleblower who alerted the NDIA. Data center developers have to earn the trust of the communities where we build, and that starts with complete transparency. Bring your own power, be clear about water usage and emissions, create high paying jobs, and make sure the economic benefits are understood by everyone. That’s exactly what we intend to do in Box Elder. We have work to do to earn the community’s support, but the facts will be public, from water and power to jobs and tax revenue. If you want to build in a community for decades, you have a responsibility to become an asset to it.

MASSIVE NDIS WASTE EXPOSED: West Sydney NDIS cleaning business tried to charge us $236 for 24 minutes worth of cleaning work. Pete Z hired a small AirBnB in Bankstown. The room was completely clean so he just threw some towels on the floor. He then called a random local NDIS cleaning service and told them that his aunt was an NDIS recipient who needed cleaning work. The business ''Help In Support Pty Ltd'' sent two cleaners with no professional cleaning equipment. Pete walked out and sat in his car while timing how long the two cleaners spent in the apartment. They spent 24 minutes inside the apartment before walking out. It turned out that they barely cleaned anything - they left towels on the floor and just used a box of tissues found inside the apartment to wipe down the benches. Help In Support Pty Ltd then invoiced us for 2 hours worth of work. They claimed they had to charge a 2 hour minimum cleaning fee because the NDIS had a special 2 hour minimum cleaning rule mandated by the government. This rule, of course, does not exist. The business simply made it up. We confronted the owner of Help In Support Pty Ltd. We started off by pretending to be happy customers, offering a $200 cash tip on top of the $236 invoice to thank her for her amazing cleaning work. It was only when she was about to take the $200 cash tip that we confronted her about the fact that the cleaners spent only 24 minutes inside the apartment with no professional cleaning equipment. We informed her that we had called the NDIS and that they had made it clear to us that there was no special government mandated 2 hour minimum cleaning rule. When challenged, she agreed to update the invoice. She ultimately sent us back a bill for $24 - a full 90% reduction on the original price she wanted to bill the Australian government. Please imagine how much waste is taking place in the system when it comes to NDIS cleaning services. If a severely disabled client were truly disabled, non-verbal, unable to talk - there would be no way to work out whether these companies are really helping them.

Billions poured into subsidies and schemes that just make our energy bills soar. Every target, every scheme, every subsidy comes out of our pocket. We once powered the world. Now we can’t even power ourselves. We have also de-industrialised our country in the name of Net Zero We used to be the workshop of the world, a nation that built and manufactured with pride. Now we import the same goods, made with the worst emissions, just somewhere else, It’s depressing to watch us offshore our jobs, our growth and our pride. A New Black South isn’t just an idea. It’s a strategy to build Black political and economic power. We have the numbers to shape the future and influence state and local governments. That’s why I teach Civics for the People—so we understand how the system works and how to use our numbers to our advantage. If Black people are 14% of the U.S. population but 38% of Mississippi, we have leverage there. Louisiana is 34% Black. Those numbers matter, but only if we’re organized. Nobody is coming to save us. We have the numbers to save ourselves and help move this nation forward. We have to be willing to build again. I’m not interested in convincing people we deserve power. I’m interested in building enough power that our communities can determine their own future. Every other group organizes, builds critical mass, and exercises political influence. “To beat the machine we must build a machine.” ••••••••••••••••••• Hi Guys Just in Canberra this morning about to head off to Wagga where we have close to 100 coming to our branch meeting tonight. Next week, estimates will take place in Canberra. I won’t be there for the first time in six years, but to be honest I think it’s much more productive to be out in the community building an active grassroots political party that will hopefully one day take on the majors. If estimates taught me anything it’s that it’s nothing but a stonewalling process. Instead of transparency we get lies and distractions from the very people that should be accountable and transparent to the people. To change this we need to build a machine that can beat the machine. That’s why I’m on the road, spreading the message about the importance of building an active grassroots political party. If we want bureaucrats to start telling the truth in estimates we need to start building a team of like minded people in politics. It's such an exciting time to be an artist on the internet. We now have the technology to build out our worlds, in spaces we own, it is truly the age of ideas. I've built a new home for my projects here, and in advance of my next major release with Transient Labs on June 16th, I want to share what I've made with you all, and open a dialogue about how we can use these tools as artists to enhance the experience of making and sharing our art. This is an overview of davekrugman dot com (link in thread), specifically about new sites for Drip Drop and DRIVE, and to that end, I'll give a work from each project to someone who reshares this post. If you are an artist who is curious on how to build a site for yourself, I would be happy to help, I'm an open book, ask me in the comments below. There are so many tools to use- I mostly used Claude / Anthropic- and now we can literally speak our ideas into reality , the possibilities feel truly infinite, if you have curiosity, patience, and a bit of time to explore a new frontier. Evan Spiegel on the lesson that killed his first startup and led to Snapchat: "We focused on building the perfect product for way too long before we got feedback. We worked for like eighteen months to build this perfect full-featured product, which was in direct contravention to how I was always taught to build things. Build a prototype, build an MVP, get it in front of people, learn as quickly as possible. But we had spent all this time building this perfect piece of software and we hadn't thought enough about distribution. While we built this great piece of software, our competitor at the time, Naviance, had secured distribution through all the different college counselors. What piece of software are you going to choose to help your kid get into college? The one recommended by the college counselors or the one from two kids at Stanford? I think it's a pretty easy choice. So we saw very early that we had no distribution advantage. Even if we loved our software, people weren't going to use it because we didn't have a scalable way to get it in people's hands. Around that time when we saw the emergence of the App Store on iPhone, it was very clear that was a distribution channel we could really use and benefit from. But we also needed to build things we could build quickly, things we really were going to use together with our friends so we could be the first early customers. Ultimately Peekaboo and Snapchat represented that." This is exactly the asymmetry Peter Thiel describes in Zero to One: superior distribution by itself can create a monopoly, even with no product differentiation. The converse is not true. Thiel puts an even finer point on it: most businesses get zero distribution channels to work. Poor sales rather than bad product is the most common cause of failure. If you can get just one distribution channel to work, you have a great business. Estée Lauder said: it's not enough to have the most wonderful product in the world. You must be able to sell it. Many founders over-index on product perfection and under-invest in distribution. The world is full of great products nobody knows about, and mediocre products with massive distribution that dominate markets. Evan Spiegel lived it. Yesterday’s increase in Interest rates is not going to do anything to fix the underlying structural imbalances in our economy. It is not going to help build one oil refinery or find a new discovery oil. The reason we have persistent inflation in Australia is because our government is running high immigration, high spending programs alongside chronic underinvestment in infrastructure and manufacturing after decades of privatisation. It is completely absurd that the Australian people are now going to be punished with higher interest rates alongside higher fuel costs. The higher fuel costs is in-itself going to dampen demand by increasing the cost of living so why pour fuel on the fire by increasing the cost of living even more. We are in this mess because of government spending not because Australians are spending too much just to survive. Manipulating interest rates is only dealing with the symptom not the cause. Notwithstanding we can’t solve inflation in the next 30 days, Australia needs to start building more infrastructure and factories and training our children the trades needed to do it. This will increase the supply of essential goods to bring inflation down. People First is the only party with the policies that will do this. We will create an infrastructure bank to fund the infrastructure free from foreign debt and we will bring back the military apprenticeship scheme to train our children how to build and maintain the infrastructure and manufacturing plants.
