UPDATE & CONTEXT The 19 year old teen has been identified as Alford Lasean Lewis, and he was performing pranks around parks in the city of Houston, with the sole purpose of going viral. The first incident of this type happened on October 26th in Wortham Park, where Alford, accompanied by a friend who was filming him, punched a man from behind who was walking by. The second case occurred days later in the same park. This time, the influencer threatens a second person with a gun, and then asks him to hand over his phone. Fortunately the victim was finally able to escape the situation. In one incident, one of the teens used a gun and physically assaulted a victim to rob him. Lewis admitted to the assault, saying, "It was a prank" and "I wasn't trying to hurt him". He was charged with assault with bodily injury and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and the case was investigated by the HCSO Violent Crimes Division. He was granted him a $30,000 bail of, with the condition that he wears a GPS monitor on his ankle, while he is under house arrest. Addressed the Biju Janata Dal Legislature Party meeting ahead of Budget Session of #Odisha Assembly. Asked our party MLAs to corner the Government for its failures on different fronts. While the current 'double-engine' Government is busy with slogans and photo-ops, our farmers are spending freezing nights under the open sky at mandis, guarding their hard-earned harvest from dew and theft. Biju Janata Dal is the only party which stands with farmers in all seasons and is fighting against the anti-farmer attitude of this Government. The anger of farmers is at boiling point due to illegal deduction (Katni-Chhatni) in the Mandis, 150 quintal ceiling on input subsidy, harassment and delay at Mandis in payment beyond 48 hours and distress sale. The homeless and drug situation in my town is getting worse. People are being let out of prison onto the streets with no adequate support and they're walking round like zombies off their head on cheap spice. Overdoses are daily, rehabilitation seems to be non existent unless you have someone fighting your corner or on the inside. We are probably into double figures for drug deaths this year already. I've been trying my hardest of late to help as many as possible, one lad we have secured accommodation and paperwork filled in for another to go to rehabilitation, I feed these guys as much as I can, I just can't manage that level of support every day as it's costing too much I'm going to start back doing daily vlogs to show you how bad the situation is at the minute in my town, what I'm trying to get at and asking is have you heard of the wetherspoons app game? Random people on Facebook take a picture of themselves in wetherspoons and put their location and table number on the post so you can buy them drinks and they thank you in the comments If I was to take the homeless in my town to wetherspoons would you consider buying them a meal from the app? No alcohol just food for our most vulnerable that don't get a proper meal Braffy hasn't eaten for 2 days and suffers from cancer, a £3 muffin and unlimited tea meal not only fills his stomach it keeps him out the cold dry and makes him realize people do care and will eventually lead to him wanting to take that step into rehab. Not only that you see that your support goes direct to those in need and nowhere else. It's an idea that I will be trailing out in the next few days. Thank you all for your continued support 💙

Skelly was arrested. He was placed in handcuffs. He was jailed. He was forced into bankruptcy. All for no valid reason. Indeed, less than half a kilometre away from Adamson Barbecue was a Costco superstore. It remained fully open — including its foodservice facility! But never mind… To add insult to injury, Skelly was sent an invoice from the City of Toronto billing him for $187,000! The city said that was the cost that it had incurred for policing during the three-day span Skelly had opened his eatery. Yet is that the new normal? Those staging a demonstration now get billed for law enforcement costs? If so, when are the organizers of the hateful pro-Hamas demonstrations going to get their invoice? Indeed, at last Sunday’s Bathurst/Sheppard protest, at nearby Earl Bales Park, the Toronto Mounted Unit was on standby. Of note, in 2024 alone, the city estimates that $19.5 million was spent on exclusively policing the pro-Hamas/anti-Jew rallies. This total included $8 million in “premium pay" (a.k.a., overtime) for officers, with significant resources diverted from regular duties to manage the protests.
