Demis Hassabis recommendation for college students. He’s still do STEM, math and computer science. Expertise in those fields will help better leverage AI for at least next decade. Those in non-techical majors, really “lean in to” using latest models. AI labs spending so much time creating new models that they’ve only “scratched the surface” of what the models can actually do (huge “capability overhang”). After recent tragic incidents on our subways, there is no denying that many New Yorkers are feeling unsettled. Sharing statistics about transit crime dipping is not going to change that. That is why I’ve been going down into our subway stations to hear directly from commuters about what more we can do to make them feel safer. I appreciate those who took the time to share their ideas. We will keep at it until all New Yorkers both are and feel safe.

The people who are going to buy council houses are those who would probably live in them for the rest of their lives anyway. It seems to me absolutely wrong to say to them you must go on paying increasing rent for the rest of your life and never have the chance to own your home. Give them a chance to own it. They'd have been there anyway. They'll do their own maintenance. They'll do their own improvements. The next generation will have gotten used to, "I'm going to be a homeowner." It will give them a new independence, and a new dignity.

The SaaSpocalypse narrative is starting to make less and less sense. Software companies like $PLTR, $NOW, and $CRM are getting punished because investors believe AI will replace SaaS. Jensen Huang disagrees. “Claude can write software.” That’s true. But Jensen argues that enterprises aren’t going to build their own software. They’re going to deploy AI agents that use software tools to get work done. “Agents won’t replace tools. Agents will use tools.” NVIDIA is already seeing this happen. According to Jensen, the company has deployed so many AI agents that tool usage is actually increasing. That’s the exact opposite of the SaaSpocalypse thesis.

I am talking memory shortage, GPU shortage, and electricity." Demis: "That is constraining a lot of the deployment for sure.
