I can’t describe how many weeks/months of my life have been spent “validating” There’s definitely a balance, customer interaction is crucial, but the field is so green rn you should just build fast If you walk outside during a rainstorm without an umbrella it’s impossible to not get wet

you said better than i could myself

The detective is in. All episodes of #CrossOnPrime are NOW STREAMING on @PrimeVideo.

That’s still lean! Building an app over night on cursor doesn’t require finding, hiring or a fat tech stack ‼️

I'm referring to the book The Lean Startup, which advocates to fail fast and sell before you build. Following your curiosity is a much better compass

People still give this advice every day. There is truth in it, even today. Better route for most is just to iterate on what already exists and make it better.

"If you're living at the edge of the future and you're exploring the edge of technology, there are so many good ideas you're likely to just bump into one" I mean he's not wrong, but that feels closer bootstrapper advice. Imagine if that was in your application to YC. You'd get laughed out!

Most customers won't buy until they see social proof, a working product and possibly momentum, however, pre launch is a valid way to get early momentum from believers. I just completed a pre launch and netted $1k+. Gives me a bit of fuel and enthusiasm moving forward.

Completely on board with this.

I mean build fast fail fast is still valid isn't it?

Blue ocean theory is toast!
