The left claims without migrants nobody would pick the fruit or mow the lawns. The truth is mass migration makes labor shortages worse.

I strongly recommend pivoting away from the labor argument. It leaves room for debate. The real argument is about the massive and negative externalities to society. We taxpayers subsidize their food, healthcare, education (or kids’ education), etc. They drive up the costs of everything (consumer goods, gas, electricity, housing, food, etc.) by increasing demand. Auto insurance costs more because they drive uninsured and cause wrecks. They also commit property and violent crimes at greater rates than the native population. They increase the strain on all of our infrastructure (roads, utilities, schools, etc.). What do we get in exchange? Cheap labor? Cheap labor my foot. They’re expensive! We the people get the short end of the stick.

The left? Trump says it. Call him out too bro!

The left loves migrants because cheap labor is great for the estate…

Thank you for this one. I had not looked beyond the obvious in terms of illegals. But the supply and demand effect on services I had not really thought about. Sure people know about it but never really think about it.

The cost savings from cheap labor also don't help most Americans, they just make the big businesses bigger profits.

Millions of NON Violent convicts in our Prison system throughout the U.S Wouldn't be all that difficult to configure a Contingency to fill the void. On the + side, America already pays into America's prisons & the majority of convicts are educated & speak English. Jus sayin

💯. Working on a new theory: Open borders & illegal immigration is a tax on a nation's generational wealth...
