Donald Trump had both the authority and opportunity as President to release the Epstein files — documents that could have exposed a vast network of sexual abuse and elite protection. Yet he chose not to. This was no accident. Trump himself is named in multiple Epstein-related documents and has a well-documented history of socializing with both Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. He attended parties with them, publicly praised Epstein’s interest in “younger women,” and has been mentioned in several legal cases. By refusing to release the files, Trump wasn’t protecting justice or national security — he was protecting himself and others in his orbit. His inaction reveals that his populist talk of “draining the swamp” was political theater. When faced with a real chance to challenge elite abuse and systemic corruption, he stayed silent. This is not just cowardice — it’s complicity.
