"Small leaks"... lol. They had to refuel after takeoff. Working with titanium at the time was difficult. Not Small leak. Beyond amazing though

In 1989, the SR-71 (Ichi-ban) broke down while speed test at Mach 3 and crashed into the sea. USA pulled it out of the sea because it was high technology, but it was not possible to save it and then they buried it in the Mariana Trench.
