Police have admitted it: legal gun owners are not committing gun crime. So why is the government punishing them instead of criminals? This isn’t public safety — it’s political theatre. Massive respect to Capital City Fire for fighting this injustice for years when few would. Now even Doug Ford and other premiers are standing up for lawful gun owners — and the truth is finally breaking through. Criminals don’t follow laws. Law-abiding Canadians do. The Liberals gun-grab scare tactic: Have the RCMP send an email to law-abiding Canadians, on behalf of Public Safety, trying to subtly scare Canadians into giving up their firearms. In the email, they misrepresent the truth... that the program is to keep Canadians safe due to rising crime. The reality is, the vast majority of firearms used in crime are from the US. In addition, other than Quebec, no province is interested in participating in the program nor do they have the resources to enforce it. And they also do not believe in the program, with one Premier who is a law-abiding firearm owner, even going so far as calling the program a "headache".
