That’s exactly the way in should be done. Turn the water on, leave it running the entire time to make sure about 2 gallons are wasted to clean that waste product. Then wrap the never biodegrade styrofoam and plastic never break down wrap it all in aluminum foil.

Dull a perfectly good knife, waste a platic bag and wait... put a steak right in the sink. This video is what not to do.
