This is just cumbersome and stupid as hell. LN is not BTC and BTC is not Bitcoin. The real Bitcoin(SV) scales on base layer with instant micropayments and is suitable for small casual payments already today. There was never need for any of this L2 bullshit.

Just use Bitcoin instead. Oh wait you can’t. BTC = 7 TPS forever.

Trust me bro.

A bar tab is the simplest analogy. Good video

Is there a source link for you tube or your website?

Pretty terrible explanation....

@HeyGenLabs spanish

XRP fixed it Lol

Thanks for this great explanation

That’s an amazing video! Love that! 🙌🧡

The Lightning Network doesn’t scale Bitcoin—it sidesteps it. The linked paper on routing and liquidity limitations demonstrates that channel-based systems can never replicate the scalability or universality of direct transactions recorded on-chain. Every channel must be funded, managed, and balanced, which inherently restricts throughput and accessibility. The result is a brittle overlay of IOUs and custodial hubs, not a distributed payment network. More critically, it isn’t even part of Bitcoin: it operates as a separate, off-chain ledger whose settlement depends on a congested five-transactions-per-second base layer. That’s not scaling—that’s outsourcing.

What about all the off-chain transactions, are they secured by Bitcoin miners? Are the nodes on layer1 or LN nodes? What if I want to transact with Nelly through Bob. Does Bob need to have equal or more amount of funds? And lastly are the hubs centralized?

fast channels, instant settle!
