The LNP hypocrisy is again exposed with multiple MPs previously opposing cuts to the fuel excise rebate🤦 Dutton "It's costly and can be gamed by the energy giants" Angus "You'll see price rises elsewhere as a result" Barnaby "It'll take money away that we spend on roads"

The LNP are spruiking a $1500 saving for families. How many families churn thru 6000 litres of fuel in a year? The average vehicle travels 12100km per year. That’s about 2km/litre average based on the LNP info Oh, and btw, Gina pays no fuel excise saving over 86 million / year

Senator Wyden: " We are in an arms race on clean energy with them. Are you going to be on the side of people who want to unravel this?" Treasury secretary nominee Scott Bessent: " China will build a hundred new coal plants this year. Senator Wyden. There is not a clean energy race. There is an energy race. China will build 10 nuclear plants this year."

So, the LNP have only recently opposed their own election policy on the fuel excise rebate. They are now using something they don't believe in to try to capture a few votes. Hypocrisy must begin with a capital L.

Maybe if the LNP is elected they all plan on buying shares in the fuel giants before those fuel giants jack up their prices to game the system. Remember past behaviour is the best indicator of future behaviour.

Zack Polanski, "It's a tax on assets of 1% on £10m+ or 2% on £1 billion+" "The most obvious win here is to bring Capital Gains Tax in line with Income Tax" "The reason why that's important is right now we tax earned income more than we tax unearned wealth" "If you're a cleaner, you could be paying more tax than the person who owns the building that you're cleaning" "It's completely absurd. It's a political choice. We can make different political choices" "When Ruth said it's difficult to find wealth, that there are practical challenges, so let's spend more money on HMRC" "We keep underspending on the NHS, it shouldn't be a surprise we have a sick population" "So yes, spend money up front on public infrastructure, on our services, but we're getting that money back, in terms of a much better economy and a healthier population" "It's outrageous that we would have any more spending cuts" "People in this country are tired and exhausted" "They see the cost of living raised and they're not seeing their wages go with it" "We have wealth in this country that we can redistribute" "So the idea that people who are already struggling, as a result of political decisions and consequences of the past decade, are going to have to suffer another round of cuts" "It's not a surprise to me when Nigel Farage talks about connecting with people's fear and anger, that's he doing so well" "Of course I say this because Reform UK's solutions will make things even worse" "That's why the Greens are doing so well right now, we're offering hope and some practical solutions" "To say we don't need to cut spending and actually we need to tax the wealthier in our country more and invest in public services"

BREAKING: Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is now issuing filmed fact-checks of the media from the Pentagon. Brilliant. Hegseth issued 3 fact checks, calling out the media for their "bogus" reporting on the Pentagon's recent activities. 1. "The first is DOGE... With DOGE, we're focusing as much as we can on headquarters, and fat, and redundancies, and top-line stuff that allows us to reinvest elsewhere." "We welcome DOGE, and finding those efficiencies is how we save taxpayer dollars. That is a good thing that of course is being distorted through the media..." 2. "The second story in the news is our work reorienting the budget that we inherited..." "The media wants to call these exclusive cuts, but it's the opposite, of course, as always is the case... we are pulling around 8% or $50,000,000,000 from the Biden budget." "We will move away from woke Biden era nonlethal programs, and instead spend that money on President Trump's America first peace through strength priorities for our national budget." 3. "The third and final bogus story that is out there is around our reevaluation of our probationary workforce." "Bottom line, it is simply not in the public interest to retain individuals whose contributions are not mission-critical, and to restore accountability within the federal workforce." "Taxpayers deserve to have us take a really thorough look at our workforce top to bottom, and it will be top to bottom, to see where we can find and eliminate redundancies."
