But whether it's the Phase 1 or the Yellow Line, BMRCL has never been able to meet its deadlines in any project it has taken up. We are everyday seeing people struggle for some breathing space in Bengaluru's overcrowded metro trains. From addressing delays in procurement of coaches to speeding up the execution of projects, BMRCL has a lot of catching up to do. But the city cannot wait. Leaving party politics aside, I once again urge CM Siddaramaiah & DCM DK Shivakumar to urgently convene a meeting of public representatives & traffic experts to explore solutions for Decongesting Bengaluru.
