So when precisely do they become an actual person? Declaring something a “future person” as a way to deny their existence is just a convenient way of refusing the physical reality of causality.

Before watching this debate I was pro-choice, after watching this debate I became anti-life.

The look on their faces is because they can’t believe the contradictory logic you’re using. A) it’s not ok to cause harm to a “future person” B) it is ok to cause harm to a “future person” Which is it? You have to pick one in order to have a debate.

I’m sorry but this is a terrible argument. Trent Horn showed you how terrible the potential consequences could be when yall debate on the Whatever Podcast. If we can’t truly define the exact moment personhood begins then how can we know that we are harming an unborn person or not? I believe in the extraordinary exceptions for abortion but overall abortion is about killing a human being. Consciousness is not always the determining factor.
