90s USPS carrier came to my door in DC asking if I could contact neighbor-water was flooding from under porch-got under porch tried to find way to turn off-couldn’t. She was out of town but I contacted her office & they helped. USPS rocks especially if had same carrier

Our mailman in Brighton, MA (early 90s), saved my GD, who had gotten out & was being beaten by some guy. He put him in his mail van & they did his whole route together. He was sitting on the porch with him when I got home from school. I wish I could have seen it.
