The main issue with World Labs is that the worlds are empty, nothing to do there. The idea for our latest hackaton project is to detect objects in the players FOV and spawn interactables dynamically. Here, we use it to learn a foreign language in VR.

Our mainstream culture is conflict-avoidant. There is the assumption that the less conflict there is in a relationship, the better it is. I disagree. If there is real intimacy, conflict is actually unavoidable. Because we are all different. The real indicator of health in a relationship isn’t the lack of conflict, it is the quality of our repair. It is the level of authenticity we can bring. That requires knowing how to be with conflict and disagreement, how to hold nuance. And it also requires practicing the art of repairing. Are we willing to show up and repair what we broke? Do we have the skills and capacity required for that? Avoiding conflict means avoiding truth and therefore avoiding real intimacy. This work is essential and transcends the personal. If we aren't capable of dealing with conflict in our own personal lives, it is no wonder that the world is in the state it is, where the most prevalent conflict management strategy is escalation.

Saying that antisemitism is unacceptable has nothing to do with Muslim hatred. It is sad and disappointing that these two topics have been connected for today’s debate in the European Parliament. How cynical! Because we all know who needs protection today and against whom. It is the Jewish schools, musea and synagogues that are guarded. And we all know why. But why is it so difficult to say it? To name the reality? We saw it in the streets here in Europe, calling to destroy the Jews. We saw it in the murders in the Jewish museum in Belgium. We saw it in the celebration of the pogrom in Israel. We saw it in the pressure for the silence kept by international organisations who ignored the pain of Jewish women. The reason why they kept silence is the same reason why whenever you say anything about antisemitism, they want to add Muslim hatred in the conversation or they say that you are a racist. It is the reason why so many European countries use taxpayers’ money to sponsor organisations who pretend to fight racism and Islamophobia but are the tentacles of the Muslim brotherhood, operating here to feed its forces against us in Europe. Today is Shani Louks birthday. She was born on February 7th 2001 and killed on October 7th in Israel. Saying that radical Islam is a threat, has nothing to do with Muslim hatred. But the Summit of the Future showed that with a spirit of dialogue and compromise, we can join forces to steer our world to a more sustainable path. As this year’s #UNGA activities wind down, we must remember that this is not the end. It is in all our interests to choose the future we want and to guide our world towards it. The journey continues. Let’s keep going.
