'AJA' is a 10/10 album so I'm interested in the backstory of it or any single cut on this model of vinyl perfection.
The part with the different solos and the part with Michael McDonald shows a glimpse into the mad geniuses behind Steely Dan.
That simple, soft, alternating hat to snare just makes the beat so much more groovy. I’m glad the dynamics of that section allows for it to be heard clearly. So cool.
Amazing song. That entire album is a masterpiece.
They were so advanced that they had a hard time finding the right studio musicians to play with them.
One of my favorite, classic tunes from one of my favorite groups. I remember listening to (Do it Again) in the early 70’s as about a 10-year old. It was good then. It’s great now. Love 70’s music. ✌️
