The world is a technocratic corporatocracy. Governments are lobbied to put policies in place to increase shareholder profits. YOU are a fraction of a number on a spreadsheet to them at best, and a parasite to cull at worst. They believe that they do not work for you, as the government was intended to work. You are a thing to be traded, moved, or eliminated. You aren't a person with a family, hopes, dreams, and ideas... to them, you are a cheap commodity, a blemishes to be removed if it impacts their plans.
