I have heard this before and this is my take. In my own family history...my great-great grandfather who came to Canada in 1634...signed a marriage contract for his 10 year old daughter with an older man. Once his daughter turned 13, she was given over to her husband (along with a cow, some chickens, and farming tools) and began bearing children. This was the way it was done. People, (feminists) do not like to believe this, but it has only been in the past two-hundred years, that this romantic idea of love, made its way down to the peasants...the idea of signing a marriage contract before a girl was of child bearing age was common practice. Once she was of child bearing age, 13-14 she was handed over and more or less spent the next 20 years giving birth and working....As for the Prophet Mohammed, I am going to speculate that it was something similar in that part of the world. We have the "story" the "documentation" if you will that he married an underage girl. But my bet is that is was the same as in the West 1000 years ago. You sign the contract, "get married", but take "possession" when the girl is ready to bear children. Both in the West and in the Muslim world, for the most of history, women bore child after child because most would not survive childhood...

Obviously a wife should respond when her husband wants to be intimate, but if she doesn't he should not force her. This is pretty basic.

The real question is when will you address the fact that you were convicted of the murder of a German man in UAE in 2006? What does the Sharia say about murder and escape from prison while awaiting justice for that murder? Why should we listen to a murderer speak on morality?
