From the outset CNN marketed genocide as self-defense. It showed and still shows more sympathy, more respect, and gives more time to Israel's narrative, to the country that is committing genocide and very little coverage of the genocide, which is always framed as self-defense and a justifiable reaction to October 7th. As to the respect to the genocided and slaughtered Palestinian and Lebanese citizens, CNN shows no respect whatsoever. CNN respect is reserved to genocidal maniacs.
