The massive pillars supporting the roofing system at Gobekli Tepe 🇹🇷 pierce directly thru the archaeological site up to 20 ft. I’ll be showing the extensive amount of damage done w/before installation shots at Karahan Tepe where they are currently building the same structure in an upcoming video I... show more

Thank you for doing this work y’all are really helping preserve this insanely important site and bringing awareness to the willful destruction of it

I appreciate that brother! Especially coming from you! Can’t wait to connect in person at some point…it’s bound to happen eventually 😎

🏔 Mountaineering: Not an uphill task for tenacious Pakistani women No mountain is too high or too difficult to scale for determined Pakistani women mountaineers, who continue to defy odds and break barriers in the world of high-altitude climbing.

🔥🔥🔥

Apparently the archaeologists did soundings and excavated down to bedrock carefully before choosing where to place the poles, but as enclosures are carved from bedrock it’s hard to know if damage has been done in unexcavated areas. If Lee Clare hadn’t left X we could ask him!

I hope that’s the case but from what I saw at Karahan Tepe I don’t feel too encouraged.

That is fucking insane.

Its ridiculous. Thank you for showing these images.

Absolutely!

I would be more concerned about those ancient stone pillars as they don't look massive. There are tall and wide, but ridiculously thin, almost like they would break from frost-damage the next winter. Looks like the project lead ran out of resources to use more solid stones.

Thank you revealing this to world amazing work and I’m really appreciate your work 👍🏼

🙏
