Volume remains weak, the Slow line is still macro bearish, and RSI is putting in lower highs while price stalls just under 80K. Even with OBV still technically bullish, this move does not yet look strong enough to change the bigger bearish view. ETH looks even weaker than BTC here. It bounced, but it still has not cleanly cleared overhead resistance, RSI continues to trend lower, and volume plus OBV both look fragile. Aaron is still expecting a lower low on ETH, and that fits with the broader setup where BTC is holding up better than the rest of the market. The next time you hear someone use the term "fiat currency" and mean it unironically, just ignore them. They have no clue what they're talking about. We haven't used fiat currency in any meaningful way in a hundred years, longer. There is no fractional reserve lending. If you don't even know what money is, how can you claim that you're replacing it? But in order to justify why #BTC keeps going up in price (not usage, just price), they've concocted this fairy tale that the dollar is "being debased" because otherwise they'd have to admit it's only going up because it's a NASDAQ stock. BTC isn't money, it's a tradeable portfolio asset just like Nvidia. Nothing more. And there's nothing wrong with that. BTC and the Euro$ are completely different worlds. BTC doesn't compete with "the dollar", it competes with AI bubble stocks - and therefore trades a lot like them, if you haven't noticed. This is one of those times when the truth is impossible to ignore - "dollar debasement" is being debased not the Euro$. AGAIN.

I’ve been doing some research on $BMNR which is a $ETH treasury with Thomas (Tom) Lee (not drummer) FundstratDirect.com as chairman. There are many interesting things about this company, but here’s one thing in particular that I see commonly mistaken. Some investors steer clear of $BMNR because it is dilutive to shareholders. Well as Tom Lee explains to amit below, $BMNR is actually the opposite of dilutive, since they are constantly increasing $ETH per share, and only issuing shares when they are trading above mNAV. Another thing particularly interesting is that Tom Lee says that $BMNR can currently stake their ~$9B of $ETH and earn ~$300M of net income. And since $BMNR is about 1/3 of the way to their 5% goal, that would be around ~$1B of net income for $BMNR once they hit that 5% goal just by staking their $ETH. I’m very interested!

🚨EVERYONE THINKS ETHEREUM IS DEAD That's exactly why I'm paying attention The market is treating $ETH like it's just another altcoin It isn't Ethereum has already fallen almost 70% from its all-time high, while Bitcoin has held up much better That underperformance is exactly why the narrative has become so one-sided "ETH is dead" "The cycle is over" "Just buy BTC" I've heard this before The easiest way to see what's happening is the ETH/BTC chart The ratio has been crushed for years and is sitting near levels we haven't seen in a long time After months of underperformance, people stopped comparing Ethereum to Bitcoin and started comparing it to every failing altcoin That's the mistake $BTC and $ETH are still the only two crypto assets with more than a decade of history, no insider unlocks, no VC emissions and real institutional adoption The difference is that their economics are no longer the same Around a third of all $ETH is staked, earning native yield while remaining locked inside the network Bitcoin doesn't do that New $BTC is still issued every day, and miners regularly sell part of it to cover electricity, hardware and operating costs Then look at the corporate treasuries Companies holding Bitcoin own an asset that doesn't generate cash flow on its own Companies building Ethereum treasuries can stake their $ETH and earn yield while they wait It's the difference between holding an asset... And holding an asset that pays you to stay patient That's why I think the market is pricing Ethereum like a broken asset while ignoring how much its structure has changed over the last few years Could ETH still go lower?
