The Matrix hid a 200-year-old philosophy inside a shootout scene and almost nobody noticed. "A man can do what he wants, but he cannot want what he wants." That single line dismantles the version of free will most people carry around without ever examining. You can chase a desire...

Culture is genetic because behavior is genetic. This beaver never saw a dam in its life. No beavers or anything else ever taught it to build a dam. It wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. Many beavers together build a big dam. That is beaver culture. Humans are not different. Nothing is different. This is what life is. This is how life works. Your body is your mind. A caterpillar wants to build a chrysalis. A bee wants to build a hive. A lion wants to build a pride. You are not special. You are not above your nature. you are INSIDE of it. The thoughts that we think are genetic thoughts. The crimes we commit are genetic crimes. The art we create is genetic art. Just like this beaver, you can give the animal different sticks and it will build a different dam, but it will always build a dam. And you can give humans different "education," but the human will always use it to do what its genes tell it to do. This is the first big answer that you need. This is the biggest piece of the puzzle. This is how to understand people 90% of the way. You just... notice what they do, and get out of the way, and watch them do it. And if they need sticks, you give them sticks. And if you don't like what they do, you have to get away from them. You cannot train dam-building into them or out of them any more than you can with a beaver. A beaver wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. Whatever you see people build, that's what they wanted to build from the sticks they got in the river they were in. Stop pretending you can change it.

Elon Musk just told you the job is dying. Most people heard a prediction. A few heard a prison door opening. Musk: “In less than 20 years, working at all will be optional.” That is not a policy suggestion. That is a countdown. For three hundred years, the human blueprint has been identical. You are born. You move to the city. You rent a box near the office. You trade your body and your hours for the right to exist. You do this until you are old. Then you stop. Then you die. The entire model runs on one assumption. That human labor is the only engine. AI and robotics delete that assumption. When the machine handles production at a scale no human crew can match, the forced migration to the city evaporates. The commute evaporates. The cubicle evaporates. The alarm clock that owns your nervous system for forty years evaporates. Musk: “I think it won’t be the case that you have to be in a city for a job.” The city was never a choice. It was a requirement disguised as ambition. You moved to the noise and the concrete and the $4,000 rent because the paycheck lived there. Remove the paycheck from the equation and the geography changes overnight. You can live in the mountains. On the coast. In the silence of a town most people have never heard of. You can wake up to nothing but trees and cold air and the complete absence of anyone else’s schedule. That is not a fantasy. That is the math resolving. But here is where most people break. They hear “work is optional” and they see emptiness. A species with nothing to do. Billions of people staring at screens until their minds dissolve. That fear tells you everything about what the system has already done to us. We confused labor with purpose. The grind with meaning. The paycheck with proof that we matter. Musk: “In the same way that you could grow your own vegetables in your garden.” The analogy is precise. You do not grow tomatoes because the economy demands it. You grow them because something in you wants to build a thing with your hands and watch it come alive. That instinct does not disappear when the job does. It gets unleashed. The artist who spent twenty years doing accounting finally paints. The engineer who always wanted to build something of her own finally builds it. The kid in a small town who could never afford to take the risk finally takes it. Work does not vanish. Forced work vanishes. What replaces it is creation without a gun to your head. This is the part that keeps me up at night. We are standing at the edge of the largest liberation in human history. And the loudest voices in the room are begging to stay in the cell. They want the commute. They want the boss. They want the structure that tells them when to eat and when to sleep and when they are allowed to think about their own life. Because freedom without a template is terrifying. The next twenty years will not test our technology. The technology is already ahead of schedule. They will test whether the species can handle what it has been asking for since the beginning of civilization. Time. Space. Silence. And the unbearable weight of choosing what your life actually means when no one is forcing the answer. That is not a prediction. That is the final exam. And nobody is ready.

I hear so often from the Dommes I work with that they struggle with people online fetichizing them and simply seeing them for how sexy and beautiful they are. They project their fantasies and their desires onto you. That stops immediately once you move the attention from you to them. From 'look at me' to 'I see you'. What does that look like? When you create content, think of them and what this scene or that narrative is evoking. What will they learn from you? What they want is not to passively watch how sexy you are, but for you to train them, to give them instructions, to teach them, to guide them, to be in charge, to command them. This is not being an object but the main subject. The Authority figure. How is your content already doing that. The sexy photos can still be there, they are important to already capture des attention. But what you do with that attention once you have it, is where the power dynamic is established. Positioning yourself as more than a stunning Goddess, but actually a woman who has a voice, opinions, perspective, a philosophy, a way to doing things, teaching them what you like, how you like it, why you like it, already makes them want to be that for you. You hold the attention, you hold the power, so you direct it. And for that, you want them to know you get them and you know what lives within them... that creates the desire for you to be the one exposing it. You instantly build trust. Not because you demanded it, but because you earned it: you showed them you know what you are doing. You have experience, you understand them. They are not told to come see you, they are seduced into it. They desire it. And they will work for it. This will attract better clients (real subs) and instead of you trying to get their attention, they will work to earn yours. If you want to learn more about power dynamics, building a brand as a Pro or the psychology behind BDSM, you can now access all my trainings and classes in one place for a fraction of the cost of The Dominatrix Academy. And you can reinvest the total amount towards the Program. Message me [SECRET] for the details. This offer is not available on my website.

You do not have a past-self living within your mind or body. You only exist in this moment at the age you currently are with all that you've lived through. No part of you is a child. You cannot heal the 6-year-old self who was neglected. That neglect was very real if that's something you experienced. The pain you feel from that neglect, it matters and it's real. But only the 25 or 32 or 45 or 56-year-old self staring back at you in the mirror can actually be healed. And she can't be healed by you. The self cannot be both the problem and the solution. It's actually a power outside of you that can heal you as you are right now. Namely, it is the God who created you, who alone has the power to heal you and to help you. And yes, He speaks to you as His daughter, no matter your age, but not as a toddler. He sees and cares about your childhood, but He communicates to you as the adult you are, not as the baby that you were. The Christian approach to trauma is compassion. Yes, absolutely. But it is also the difficult Holy Spirit empowered work of finding our worth in Christ and forgiving those who have wronged us. This is where true liberation is found. It is not found from self-discovery and self-love. No amount of speaking to your inner child, which doesn't actually exist, will lead you down a path of lasting fulfillment. Counseling, in light of that truth, can be helpful and healing for the Christian, but no borrowing of New Age psychology will do.

Knock off the negative self talk! Changing the words you say to yourself literally rebuild your brain in ways that help you or hurt you. Here's the science of one of the words you say to yourself matter: When you use criticizing language in your internal voice, your brain picks up on that and turns on the parts that are related to defending you from physical danger. Your brain hears your mind saying something harmful, and assumes that you're under attack. This affects your physiology, keeps you in a fight or flight response, and elevates your blood pressure and cortisol levels. In other words, when you attack yourself internally, your body gets the message and you literally feel like you're at war. On the other hand, research shows that when you use compassionate language to yourself, you don't magically make all your problems go away. What happens is that your brain area is related to problem-solving, calmness, and feeling hopeful, come alive. This set the filters in your reticular activating system to begin to look for possibility and not danger. The first commandment of self brain surgery is that I must relentlessly refuse to participate in my own demise. Using harmful words to yourself is literally committing malpractice against your own brain and your own life. So, and I say this with love, knock it off. Be kind to yourself. In a world full of difficulties, you deserve at least one ally. And your brain needs to hear encouraging language so I can do a better job of showing you a path forward instead of keeping you stuck. Jeremiah 29:11 says that God has a plan to give you hope and the future. Don't hinder his ability to do that by blocking your brain from being able to see what might already be there. Send this to a friend who needs an ally. Save this for the next time you find yourself feeling afraid. And follow me for connections between neuroscience and scripture every day that will help you flourish in your life. Click the link in my bio to learn more about my New York Times. Anybody can get a pump. I can get one in my living room in four minutes with no equipment whatsoever. Twenty press-ups. A band I found in a drawer. Fifty bodyweight squats. Waving my arms about for ninety seconds. A set of thirty on anything, nowhere near failure, rested short enough to keep the blood where I put it. None of that is hard. None of that is a decision. The pump arrives whether you meant it or not, which is precisely why it cannot be evidence of anything. And it lives in the eight to twelve range, because that is where the weight is never frightening. You can chase a sensation all afternoon in there. Nothing you pick up is ever going to look back at you. Now go and get under something that might beat you. There is no hiding on a heavy set of five. You cannot half-do it. You cannot drift through it thinking about your afternoon. The weight either moves or it sits there in front of everybody. That is why eight to twelve has survived fifty years of scrutiny it never earned. It is the widest band of weight you can lift while remaining completely unaccountable. Heavy enough to feel like effort. Light enough that nothing is ever on the line. A rep range you can occupy for a decade without once finding out what you are capable of, and leave every session swollen, sweating and entirely convinced. Heavy training keeps a record. That is the objection to it, and nobody will ever say so out loud. Take a set of five to within a rep of failure and you will find out exactly what you are worth, in kilos, before you leave the building. Most people would rather not.

Elon Musk just described a future where money does not exist. Not reformed. Not redistributed. Gone. Musk: “I think things will just be free in the future. If you’ve got an AI robotics economy that is anywhere close to a million times the size of the current Earth economy, literally any need you possibly want can be met.” Forget the sci-fi framing. Listen to what he is actually saying. The entire structure of human civilization runs on a single variable. You need something you cannot freely access. That gap is not a flaw in the system. It is the system. Your employer does not pay you because your work has value. Your employer pays you because you have no choice but to show up. Your government does not protect you out of principle. It maintains order because your dependency on the economy makes you governable. Scarcity is not a natural condition. It is the most successful control structure ever built. Musk: “If you can think of it, you can have it.” Now ask what happens when that structure collapses. A population that does not need a paycheck cannot be managed by one. A population that does not need credit cannot be disciplined by debt. A population that has everything has no reason to comply with anything. This is not a conversation about free goods. This is a conversation about the largest redistribution of leverage in recorded history. But there is a second collapse no one is talking about. Most people have built their entire identity around the constraint. The career they resent is the structure that tells them where to be every morning. The bills they complain about are the exact reason they never had to ask a harder question. Musk: “There actually isn’t money in the future and there’s abundance for everyone.” When the constraint disappears, so does the excuse. The crisis of the coming century will not be material. It will be millions of people standing in total freedom. Discovering they have no idea who they are without the struggle. Every barrier will be gone. And you will finally have to face the one thing scarcity has been protecting you from your entire life. Yourself.

Jordan Peterson: "If you can't fix your room, you can't fix your life" "Why should you even bother improving yourself? The answer is something like: so you don't suffer anymore stupidly than you have to. And maybe so others don't have to either. It's not some casual self-help doctrine. If you don't organize yourself properly, you'll pay for it. In a big way. And so will the people around you." Peterson continues: "You can say, 'Well, I don't care about that.' But that's actually not true, you do care about it. Because if you're in pain, you will care about it. It's very rare that you can find someone in excruciating pain who would say, 'Well, it would be no better if I was out of this.' Pain brings the idea that it would be better if it didn't exist along with it. It's incontrovertible." On how to start: "Look around for something that bothers you and see if you can fix it. You can do this in a room. Sit in your bedroom and think: 'If I wanted to spend ten minutes making this room better, what would I have to do?' You have to ask yourself that, it's a genuine question. And things will pop out. There's a stack of papers bugging you. Some rubbish behind your computer monitor you haven't attended to for six months. Cables tangled up." He explains why this matters: "If you were coming to see me for psychotherapy, the easiest thing would be to get you to organize your room. You think, is that psychotherapy? It depends on how you conceive the limits of your being. Start where you can start. If something announces itself as in need of repair that you could repair, fix it. Fix a hundred things like that, your life will be a lot different." On fixing what you repeat every day: "People tend to think of their daily routines as trivial. You get up, brush your teeth, have breakfast. Those probably constitute 50% of your life. People think, they're mundane, I don't need to pay attention to them. No, that's exactly wrong. The things you do every day are the most important things you do. Hands down. Just do the arithmetic." On staying within your competence: "Sometimes you don't know how to fix something. Imagine you're walking down the street and there's a guy who's alcoholic and schizophrenic and has been homeless for ten years. That's a problem. It would be good if you could fix it, but you haven't got a clue. You walk around that and go find something you could fix. Just because something announces itself as in need of repair doesn't mean it's you, right then and there, who should repair it. You have to have some humility. You don't walk up to a helicopter that isn't working and just start tinkering away." Peterson shares the key insight: "As soon as you give your mind a genuine aim, it'll reconfigure the world in keeping with that aim. That's actually how you see to begin with. You've all seen the video where you watch basketballs being tossed back and forth, and while you're doing that, a gorilla walks into the middle of the video and you don't see it. If you thought about that experiment for five years, that would be about the right amount of time to spend thinking about it." He explains what it reveals: "What it shows you is that you see what you aim at. If you can get one thing through your head, that would be a good one. You see what you aim at. One inference you might draw from that is: be careful what you aim at. What you aim at determines the way the world manifests itself to you. So if the world is manifesting itself in a very negative way, one thing to ask is: are you aiming at the right thing?"

In 2002, Jordan Peterson gave a lecture and explained how to kill fear and unlock exponential growth in your life: 1. The materialist view of the world, the one taught in schools and universities, cannot explain consciousness, emotions, or meaning. It is a powerful framework for building technology but a terrible framework for living a life. It leaves out almost everything that actually matters to a human being. 2. Stories are not entertainment. They are the oldest and most accurate map of human experience ever created. Science describes objects. Stories describe what it actually feels like to be alive, to want something, to fear something, to lose something, and to fight your way back. That is why the same stories keep appearing across every culture and every century. 3. Pinocchio is not a story about a puppet who wants to be real. It is a story about a person who has to rescue what matters most to them from the most terrifying place they can imagine. Every great story has that same structure underneath it. Child or adult, the reason you cannot look away is not the animation. It is because the story is telling you something true about your own life. 4. Every human life follows the same basic structure. You are somewhere right now. You want to be somewhere else. Between where you are and where you want to be is a path you know and chaos on either side of it. Everything that has ever challenged you, confused you, or frightened you was simply something that knocked you off that path and forced you to find it again. 5. Negative emotions are not problems to be eliminated. They are your most accurate instruments. Fear tells you something you care about is at risk. Anxiety tells you the path ahead is unclear. Anger tells you something important has been violated. Running from these emotions does not make the problem go away. It just turns off the instrument that was telling you the problem existed. 6. When something unexpected happens your body reacts before your mind does. Your heart rate rises, your attention sharpens, your stomach tightens. This is not irrationality. This is your nervous system detecting that the plan you were using no longer matches reality. Something outside what you expected has appeared and it needs to be dealt with. 7. In every culture across every century, the unknown has been represented as a dragon. Not because ancient people were primitive but because they were precise. A dragon is the perfect symbol for everything you have not yet faced, everything that frightens you before you understand it, everything that sits at the edge of what you know and what you do not. 8. Dragons hoard gold. This is one of the oldest and most important ideas in human storytelling. The treasure, the thing you most need, is never in the safe and comfortable place. It is always in the place that frightens you most. The gold is inside the dragon. That is not a coincidence. That is the point. 9. Every time you avoid something you know you should face, you lose a small piece of yourself. Not dramatically. Not all at once. Just a small reduction in your capacity, a small gap in your armor. Do this enough times and you become someone who cannot hold their own weight, let alone carry anyone else. 10. Every time you face something you were afraid of and do not run, the opposite happens. You take a piece of what frightened you and integrate it. You become slightly more capable. The next frightening thing is slightly less frightening. This is not a metaphor. It is the actual mechanism by which people grow. 11. The problem with fighting symptoms instead of causes is that symptoms are infinite. If a dragon keeps breathing fire that turns into monsters, killing the monsters one by one accomplishes nothing. More keep coming. The only solution is to go straight to the source. In your own life the source is almost always the thing you have been most consistently avoiding. 12. Peterson's five-year-old nephew figured this out in a dream. Surrounded by endless monsters he did not fight them. He went straight to the dragon, blinded it, went down its throat, cut out the piece that made the fire, and used it as a shield. A five-year-old in a nightmare understood instinctively what most adults spend their whole lives avoiding. Go to the source. Face the thing directly. Take a piece of it for yourself. 13. The piece of the dragon you take when you face your fear is real and it protects you. Every person you admire who seems to handle pressure, uncertainty, and difficulty better than everyone else around them has simply faced more dragons than the people around them. They are not built differently. They have just stopped running earlier. 14. The reason you cannot lean on someone who has been running from their fears their whole life is not that they do not care. It is that they have nothing left to lean on. They fell over a long time ago. They are just still standing because nothing heavy has landed on them yet. 15. The question Peterson ends with is the one worth sitting with after you close this post. What if you are actually built for the life you are afraid of living? What if everything you need to handle what frightens you is already inside you? What if the only thing standing between you and the version of yourself you actually want to become is your willingness to stop running from the one thing you already know you should be facing? Before you go, can we stay in touch? I'd love to share one email with you every month that'll challenge how you think about business, money and freedom. Stay in touch here:

Do not borrow money to fund a lifestyle. Only borrow to fund acquisitions, start a business, in genuine emergencies, or to invest in education, because those are the only forms of debt that build you rather than destroy you. Borrowing to impress people who do not care about you is the quickest route to poverty. Don’t spend what you don’t have, don’t feel pressured to do things you can’t afford! Drive an ordinary car until you can afford to buy the monster SUV you want, and do not rely on credit to push a big car when you do not even have a title deed to your name. Invest first and enjoy the rewards in your later years. If you invest in your younger years, you will not need to panic about pensions, healthcare or old age. Nothing is more painful than seeing an elderly person without a home, without savings and without a source of income. Many people are destroyed by financial stress more than anything else. Eat what you have killed, and never put partying on credit cards that you will struggle to pay off. It is unwise. A man has potential up to 35, and after that it should be a stable life with certainty. It is hard in Zimbabwe, but elsewhere that is the rule. Studies in Europe, Asia and North America show that peak earning potential for men is usually reached between 35 and 45. Build wealth first and enjoy the luxuries later, because nothing is heavier than the debt of a lifestyle you cannot afford. You end up thinking that you were bewitched, yet you are deliberately making terrible financial decisions, choosing small pleasures today at the cost of a stable and dignified older life. Stop blaming spirits for what discipline can fix.

Jordan Peterson on why the most boring parts of your day are actually the most important: 1. The reason to improve yourself is not some casual self-help aspiration. It is to stop suffering more stupidly than you have to. And to stop making the people around you suffer more stupidly than they have to. Peterson's framing: if you do not organize yourself properly you will pay for it in a big way. And so will everyone near you. That is not a motivational poster. It is a warning. 2. Start by looking around for something that bothers you and fixing it. Sit in your room and ask genuinely: if i had ten minutes to make this place better, what would i do. not as a command. as a real question. Things will pop out. The stack of papers that has been bugging you. The cables behind the monitor you have ignored for six months. the dust. fix those things. Fix a hundred things like that and your life will look completely different. 3. Fix the things you repeat every day first. People treat their daily routines as trivial. getting up, brushing teeth, breakfast, the same small habits. Peterson says those routines probably constitute fifty percent of your life. The things you do every day are the most important things you do. The arithmetic is obvious once you do it. Neglecting them because they feel mundane is exactly backwards. 4. Do not try to fix things outside your domain of competence. If you are walking down the street and see a man who is alcoholic, schizophrenic, and has been homeless for ten years, that is a problem. But mucking around in it will not help him and will very likely hurt you. You have to have humility. You do not walk up to a broken helicopter and start tinkering. Find what you can actually fix and fix that. 5. As soon as you give your mind a genuine aim, it reconfigures the world around that aim. This is not metaphor. It is how perception works. The famous gorilla experiment: people watching basketball players pass a ball, miss a gorilla walking through the middle of the frame because they were told to count passes. You see what you aim at. The world manifests itself differently depending on what you are looking for. If the world is manifesting itself negatively the first question to ask is whether you are aiming at the right thing.
