In a cast Q&A interview, director Curry Barker confirmed that there was a scene cut from the script/movie where Ian tells Bear that he saw Nikki crying in the break room at Cassell’s Music (their workplace), but it isn’t revealed to the audience as to why. I think we can very much notice that he's a different man than he was in his first term. He's slower, he's a little more lethargic. But much more important to me is what he is saying before the world. That meeting with the generals… pulling them out from the theaters to stand before them rambling about how he walks on stairs, what wars he solved, that he doesn't like the design of battleships? Just bizarre comments that meandered. And apparently some of the generals were trying to take notes, and they just abandoned their notes because it was incoherent. I want this president to succeed. But it is clear to me that he is unwell. And I think the people around him have to recognize that and go to him and admit it to him.

Many people tagged me in a viral video of this American man, who has been widely referred to as the "Mzungu Chokoraa," claiming that he had been abandoned and was living on the streets. After I shared the video, his wife reached out to me and requested that I visit him to understand the true situation. This evening, I met him and his family, and I learned that he is not homeless. He is a married man, a father of five children, and has been living with his family in Texas, USA. According to his family, he has bipolar disorder, and his condition became worse after the passing of his mother. He is currently under medical care and takes prescribed medication. The family explained that during some episodes of his illness, he may leave home and wander the streets. This has led many people to believe that he is homeless, which is not true. They also shared that he has a passion for recycling and environmental conservation, which is why he is sometimes seen collecting recyclable materials or around dumpsites. I would like to clarify to the general public that this man is not homeless. He has a loving family that cares deeply for him. When you see him on the streets, please do not judge or discriminate against him. Instead, treat him with dignity, kindness, and respect, knowing that he is living with a mental health condition. The family has also appealed to the public not to buy him alcohol or give him weed, as both can interfere with his prescribed medication and may seriously affect his health. Let us replace stigma with understanding and compassion. Mental health conditions can affect anyone, and those living with them deserve our support, respect, and humanity.

The room goes quiet. Then the boss basically says, “I hadn't thought of that.” That moment says more about respect than the rest of the story. Kiriakou didn't earn their respect by pretending to be tough or trying to become one of them. He earned it by being useful, honest, and willing to tell the truth when agreeing would have been easier. And once they understood who he was, the relationship changed. He was invited to their dinners, parties, and workouts. Word spread that the CIA guy was with the Italians, and people left him alone. There's a bigger lesson here: people don't always respect you because you agree with them. Sometimes they respect you because they know you won't simply tell them what they want to hear. These young ladies were claiming the owner was being rude to them and kicked them out. They even posted it on their social media with only their side of what happened. If anyone looked into it they would learn that the staff asked one of the young ladies to stop sharing her alcoholic drinks with her underage friend. They kept doing it and that’s when the owner intervened. I would have called the cops on them, I wouldn’t risk losing my liquor license for anybody. Was the owner overreacting or under reacting? Besides the mooch owner I worked for last time, I normally had pretty chill bosses but one stuck out that rubbed me the wrong way. He was always backhanded with his compliments and always was trying to come up with these wild ideas to make more money. One time he came up with the idea that the driver fee that the store normally paid to the driver was going to be pocketed by the store as a convenience fee to the driver. That would make the driver rely more and more on tips in an area that didn’t tip well anyways. What was bad about this was he knew it would create backlash so instead of telling the workers himself, he has the managers do it for him. So I had to hold a meeting with the workers and tell the drivers the store was going to be charging them to deliver for us. I also made sure I emphasized that it wasn’t my idea however I was forced to enforce this, it didn’t go over well. Most of the drivers walked out. I Calle the owner and told him we were doing pick up only and I think he should reconsider his stance on the delivery fee. After a week of slow sales he finally came to his senses and reconsidered. But this time he came in person to tell us the good news, very convenient for him being the hero.

So I had to hold a meeting with the workers and tell the drivers the store was going to be charging them to deliver for us. I also made sure I emphasized that it wasn’t my idea however I was forced to enforce this, it didn’t go over well. Most of the drivers walked out. I Calle the owner and told him we were doing pick up only and I think he should reconsider his stance on the delivery fee. After a week of slow sales he finally came to his senses and reconsidered. But this time he came in person to tell us the good news, very convenient for him being the hero.
