@manualofideas @MohnishPabrai Not a subscriber so I am speculating: the washout among coal producers leading into the 2020 price drop, followed by the remarkable profitability in 2022, allowed the surviving producers to substantially improve their balance sheets/capital structure. Low risk, high uncertainty.

@MohnishPabrai He spoke so highly of Consol but now he’s out of the stock. Any color on why? Did he not like the merger?
