The same product may have different ingredients in Europe. My first time when I tried American food, that was in the late 70s, lunch meat on a sandwich, I thought I was eating soap. Too much sugar in cakes, donuts, etc. Color added everywhere. The American taste buds got used to all the added stuff, as it was added over a period of time. My European taste buds were shocked! Americans at that time, felt personally insulted when someone criticized their food. Coke in America and Coke in Europe are two different worlds. Just ask Grok..,..eliminate the high fructose corn syrup from the soft drinks and watch what will happen over a period of time.

And they make it near impossible to get ACTUAL cow milk. Or anything else that lasts longer than the stuff from the stores. Except fruits & vegetables that really shouldn't last so long....

I had no idea how they have changed products through the years. They count on us trusting them when they are making us sick. People are going to have to learn about all those product ingredients to protect themselves. I just realized my favorite cracker has monosodium glutamate in it. Who would think that a cracker would have this added. I really love those crackers now I have to give them up. I am not at all happy about this. My fault for not reading the label when I purchased them.

My wife and I have watched product after product over the last 3 years go through this process. They leave the shelfs for a short time and come back with gums, chemicals, and preservatives.
