The Mets’ deadline work is done

How about Senga, Polanco and Roberts Jr for a broken bat or something

This offseason will be interesting because they need a 1B, 2B, 3B, DH, 4 starters minimum and 8 relief pitchers. Stearns is in over his head.

David Stearns’ Win prevention plan is moving nicely!! full steam ahead. congrats. What a disgrace

Still have Robert, Baty, and Vientos on my team? Stearns getting fleeced in all trades except maybe 1? We did it!

Yeah, no top 100 prospects, 2 shortstops. No one who we can point to and say ‘this guy can help us next year’. Stearns markings all over this. It SUCKED!!!!

Damn, SNY on a roll. Can they give me sometime! Geez! @AngryMike24 @TheAmazins

@SNYtv Here let me fix that for you. For the next 3 years the Mets are done.

@SNYtv Lindor is gone Bichette is gone soto will be left with nothing but a pile of shit

By trading Luke Weaver the Mets are admitting that competing next year is a fantasy. A competitive team needs a lights out setup man. Weaver could be traded because team brass knows they are more than one year away from winning anything.

@SNYtv We’re gonna miss Tyrone so much. He helped create so many livelihoods

Not happy they didn't move Robert and would've been nice if they could've found some taker for Vientos and/or Mauricio, but I guess they can wait till the offseason for those 2. Now let's just hope they get something out of a few of these kids

@SNYtv To all those that wanted Lindor traded at the deadline cope and seethe

😂

I got not Tyrone 🤦🏻‍♂️ The Mets are awful and I hustled don’t get it what a horrible season

Nobody wanted Alvarez?

Tomorrow lineup will look interesting

I wish I could make horrible decisions and have a GM job. Takes special talent to achieve this type of mediocrity. 🗑️

@SNYtv Stearns to give Senga a 10-year $400m extension.

I think stearns did well.

Poor job. You can't strengthen the Phillies with Riley and then trade Weaver, a proven reliever who was going to help you compete for the division title next year. Stearn sucks.

@SNYtv Congrats to David Stearns and his staff. The team went from completely fucked to totally fucked.

…and yet Robert is still here

Sad guys like Holmes Taylor brazoban and weaver had to get shipped out because everyone else didn’t perform, unfortunate.

Polanco, Bicette, Robert Jr, Semien, Baty, Vientos, Alvarez. Why the F did we keep all of them

when I first read the tweet I thought it said 'Mets decline work is done'

Pathetic

This is dumb lol

Compounded disaster.
