Say hello to my new secret weapon! I was fitted for the new Parsons Xtreme Golf mini driver at Parsons Xtreme Golfuk London South #pxgtroops After checking out the new collection, I warmed up a bit before getting straight into my fitting After seeing the numbers I feel like this was exactly what was missing from my bag. As I do play as far back tees as I can and I’m not a super long hitter, this is going to help me so much. My club fitter, Conner was fantastic at fine tuning the specs and tailoring the club for my specific needs. And if that changes - there are four weight ports in the head which you can adjust for what you need, such as how much/how little spin you’d like to your preferred shot shape. I’m really excited to get this out on the course - definitely head to pxg London south if you want to get your own secret weapon!

For those that play golf I had my best round in a pro am ever today! Stoked! 44 on the front and even par 35 on the back for a 79 at Thornblade golf course in the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX today. Brandon Crick and I made the team cut for Saturday. Thanks Parsons Xtreme Golf for helping me improve. 👊🏻 love my 6’s.

SHANK FIX Now there are several causes of shanks, but one thing for certain, shanks are when the hossel of the club is delivered into the ball instead of the sweet spot. When on the course, if you suffer from one of these unfortunate shots, there are some “on the fly” strategies you can bring in, to prevent them from happening again. This video dives into a very easy practice swing that will give you the exact feel you need to have to avoid the heel of the club. In addition to this swing feel, have the thought to strike it on the toe of the club is also advisable. This will get you back to the sweet spot, where you want to be! Let me give you a wild alternate timeline of yesterday’s Masters. Patrick Reed missed the playoff by 2 shots. On 13, he had this 3 foot putt for birdie. He would somehow 3 putt, a 2-shot swing. In the alternate evil timeline, he makes this, goes into the playoff, and beats Rory. Yassir buys him a yacht. Justine finally gets luxury seats to a baseball game. LIV takes over all of golf and EDM noises becomes our national anthem. Pants are outlawed and all golf becomes shotgun golf. Saved from all that because his putter face closed a degree!

What a great day to be a Culver Academies Eagle. It’s bittersweet on this final Parents Weekend. Our twins are the last of 4 to graduate soon. After 11 years, all I can say is thank you for doing so much more than schooling my precious children. Thank you for educating them & me.

Golfers... You have to be very careful when listening to tour players talk about their own feels & what they do during the golf swing Don't get me wrong, some are VERY good at explaining in detail what they are doing & feeling, but some don't actually have a clue. They are just VERY GOOD at golf & don't really know how they do it. This is a prime example where Tiger is saying he's not a "Spot Chipper", then on another video he says he likes hitting to a "Spot" So which one is it? Remember, these guys are ELITE at playing the game of golf & getting the ball in the hole in less shots than everyone else They are not always the best at accuratly articulating what they are really trying to do There was a video of Tiger a while back where he was saying the club head moves first in the golf swing... No it doesn't. There's a pressure shift into the trail side first... Tiger won with 4 different swings. He's just THAT GOOD We as coaches are the ones who explain things better than a tour pro. The tour pros job is to shoot low scores
