He lost it right at this moment 😭:

Most humans want to be given direction by an authority. This explains it a lot.

>me hitting the maximum switch from the get-go and staring down the doctor like

The Milgram Experiment (1961) by Stanley Milgram tested obedience to authority. Participants, as "teachers," believed they were administering electric shocks (up to 450V) to a "learner" (an actor) for wrong answers in a memory test. No real shocks occurred, but the actor feigned pain and begged to stop. When urged by an experimenter, 65% delivered the maximum voltage. It revealed how ordinary people can commit harmful acts under authority pressure.

Today's authority figure who tells subjects to keep going: Presidents

NO WAY MILGRAM

I find it quite meaningless and pathetic

I saw a video of a redo of this, and all i remember was one guy disappointed at the end because the voltage didn’t go higher and he wanted to keep going 😭

Is this real?

i just blocked 17 of the 18 comments here because they're all interaction bait spam bots

@Cineaesthete4u This is so damn crazy!!! ☠️☠️☠️

@gluedualies Lets do thsi somtime

That’s proof that humans can go extreme when they’re controlled, scared or anxious

We learned this during the COVID pandemic hysteria, people will do horrible things to others if told to by an authority figure. Only a small few are capable of resisting.

@renjunnn_x Say that again...............

I can’t stand a follow the leader type person

Human and their Experiments 🤢

@grok explain it

That's what happens when someone is devoid of empathy and critical thinking

I don't think that's the purpose as I find it quite meaningless

Hahaha what training is that 😂

Now imagine this but in mass scale

Wow

Here’s the core result of the Milgram Experiment: 🔹 About 65% of participants (nearly 2 out of 3) went all the way to the highest “shock” level (450 volts) just because the experimenter told them to. 🔹 Many showed stress, hesitation, and discomfort, but they still obeyed. 🔹 The study showed that ordinary people are far more likely to follow auth
