This is GIFT City. But this post is about Gurugram. Wide roads. Underground utility tunnels. District cooling. Automated waste collection. Green-certified buildings. More than 1,200 registered entities and $111 billion in banking assets. It is not Shanghai, Shenzhen or Dubai yet. But the direction is visible. Gujarat imagined a city that could compete with global financial centres. Then it started building the infrastructure required for that ambition. Now come to Gurugram. The city credited with contributing around 65% of Haryana’s revenue. Around 25% of the state’s GST collection comes from Gurugram. Last year, it contributed ₹3,875 crore from liquor-zone auctions alone. That was 27% of Haryana’s total. The Bristol Chowk licensing zone alone fetched nearly ₹100 crore. Mr Nayab Singh Saini, what exactly is Gurugram getting in return? Garbage is lying on roads across the city. Gurugram generates around 1,200 tonnes of waste every day. The waste collection system has survived on temporary arrangements since the main contract was terminated in June 2024. Nearly two years later, the city is still floating tenders and searching for a permanent solution. Then come the roads. An MCG survey found more than 2,000 potholes across eight zones. One division alone had 600. Only 387 had been repaired when those numbers were reported. By February 2026, MCG had to announce another drive targeting 5,000 potholes in ten days. We do not have a road-maintenance system. We have pothole-filling announcements after every round of public outrage. Then it rains. In July 2025, 133 mm of overnight rain brought Gurugram to a standstill. Subhash Chowk had around 2.5 feet of water. People remained stuck in traffic until 2 AM. Open manholes disappear under rainwater. Potholes become invisible. Roads turn into accident traps. Then the electricity goes. A resident of DLF Phase 1 reported an eight-hour power cut after a five-minute drizzle. In May 2026, a fault at the Sector 72 substation disrupted eight substations and even affected Rapid Metro operations. This is happening in one of the most expensive corporate and residential districts in India. And money is not the problem. MCG spent ₹1,282 crore out of its ₹1,497 crore expenditure budget by January 2026. But only ₹85 crore had gone towards road construction and ₹240 crore towards sanitation and waste management. So the problem is worse than merely having an unspent budget. Money is being spent. Residents simply cannot see the outcome on the roads outside their homes. We are not asking Haryana to build another GIFT City tomorrow. We are asking for three things. Roads that remain usable after rain. Electricity that does not disappear with the first storm. Garbage that gets collected before every vacant plot becomes a dumping ground. These are not luxury demands. These are the most basic functions of a government. Property prices in Gurugram have reached global-city levels. People are paying ₹5 crore, ₹8 crore and ₹10 crore for apartments. But outside the gates, the roads, drains and electricity systems still feel like they belong to another decade. Gujarat looked at an empty piece of land and imagined a global city. Haryana already has one of India’s strongest economic cities. It does not need to imagine it. It only needs to stop neglecting it. Fix the roads. Fix the power. Pick up the garbage. The Bengaluru city police in a joint operation with Puducherry police arrested techie J Kenneth, accused of murdering the parents and sister of his girlfriend Shwetha. Kenneth was spotted by Puducherry police when he was drinking at a wine shop, and on seeing the cops, Kenneth started running. Chasing him for over 200 meters, ASI Ramalingam from Puducherry police department, succeeded in nabbing Kenneth. However, Ramalingam and few other cops were injured as Kenneth assaulted them. From the same place, cops had arrested Shwetha two days back. Both had fled the city after stabbing Shwetha's parents and sister Supriya to death inside the flat of an apartment in Seegehalli, KR Puram. Shwetha is in seven-day-police custody. Police will produce Kenneth before the judge at latter's home-office in National Games Village, Koramangala by evening. The victims were identified as Somasundar (52), his wife Muthulakshmi (48), and their 19-year-old daughter Supriya. According to police, the accused allegedly carried out the murders following a dispute that escalated over financial issues linked to Shwetha's unpaid bank loans, which had reportedly crossed Rs 30 lakh. Investigators believe the financial burden, along with the couple's strained circumstances, played a key role in the incident. Police said Shwetha and Kenneth, both engineering graduates and former classmates, had been in a live-in relationship for over a year, which they had kept hidden from their families. The relationship came under strain after bank recovery notices related to Shwetha's loans began reaching her family's residence in Marathahalli. In the days leading up to the incident, Shwetha's mother reportedly visited the couple's apartment after receiving the notices, followed by her father and younger sister. Police said an argument broke out over the loan issue, which soon escalated into violence inside the apartment. Neighbours reported hearing screams around 10 pm on the night of the incident, after which Somasundar was found bleeding on the staircase. Following the killings, Shwetha allegedly fled the scene, prompting a massive manhunt that led to her arrest earlier. Kenneth's arrest in Puducherry marks another major development in the ongoing investigation. Police are continuing to reconstruct the sequence of events and determine the exact role played by each accused in the triple murder case.

Times Square - New York City 🇺🇸 The origin of this place was known as Long Acre Square, but it was renamed Times Square after being located in 1904, at the intersection of 42nd Street, the offices of the New York Times. In 1913, the newspaper’s offices moved to 229 43rd Street, and the building was renamed 1 Times Square in 1961. History of Times Square, at the beginning of the 20th century, Times Square became one of the most important places in New York City, with the construction of theaters, restaurants and luxury and first class hotels. The site began to change in the 30’s where it became a dangerous place with prostitution, crime and drugs, this lasted for more than half a century. History of Times Square During the 1980s, Mayors Ed Koch and David Dinkins began a redevelopment project for Midtown Manhattan that included Times Square. In the 1990s, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani tackled the project to clean up the area with the closure of pornographic theaters, sex shops and the purchase of the nine historic theaters on 42nd Street by the State of New York. Times Square is located between 7th Avenue and Broadway, and 42nd and 47th streets, it is currently the heart of the city in general and of the New York theater district in particular. The entire area is illuminated day and night by large illuminated signs and huge television screens, this has made it famous throughout the world, as well as the descent of the Crystal ball every December 31 from the top of 1 Times Square announcing the new Year. Up to two million people flocked to Times Square to ring in the year 2000 with the lowering of Waterford’s Millennial Crystal Ball, a huge Swarovski crystal ball made specifically for this event. The north end of the square, between 46th and 47th Streets, is known as Duffy Square in honor of Father Francis P. Duffy, chaplain of the New York Regiment of Infantry during World War II. Half-price same-day Broadway show tickets are available at the TKTS Box Office, located in the center of Duffy Square. The ticket offices, renovated in 2008, are covered on its roof with wide steps in the form of a staircase that allow visitors to sit or enjoy a panoramic view. On May 25, 2009, the city council temporarily closed the section of Broadway that runs through Times Square to pedestrian traffic. The experiment was a great success and it has become a permanent pedestrian plaza where the place is more enjoyable with new metal benches, chairs and tables. Times Square has its own police station, its street cleaning company, and its tourist office that has all the information about the city, and it is also a small museum dedicated to this important square. Times Square wouldn’t be recognizable without its amazing illuminated signs. An image that is admired by two million people who pass through this square every day and many millions more in the world who enjoy it through photographs, paintings, cinema and television. Times Square began to fill with large advertisements in 1916, when the City Council encouraged its installation in this part of the city. Since then there are many who have passed through here, some true works of art. In addition, they played an important role in the remodeling of the square during its most decadent period: as a measure of pressure on the city’s rulers, one night their neighbors turned off all the signs for 15 minutes. The measure had excellent results and the negotiation was carried out. Times Square - New York City 🇺🇸 The origin of this place was known as Long Acre Square, but it was renamed Times Square after being located in 1904, at the intersection of 42nd Street, the offices of the New York Times. In 1913, the newspaper’s offices moved to 229 43rd Street, and the building was renamed 1 Times Square in 1961. History of Times Square, at the beginning of the 20th century, Times Square became one of the most important places in New York City, with the construction of theaters, restaurants and luxury and first class hotels. The site began to change in the 30’s where it became a dangerous place with prostitution, crime and drugs, this lasted for more than half a century. History of Times Square During the 1980s, Mayors Ed Koch and David Dinkins began a redevelopment project for Midtown Manhattan that included Times Square. In the 1990s, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani tackled the project to clean up the area with the closure of pornographic theaters, sex shops and the purchase of the nine historic theaters on 42nd Street by the State of New York. Times Square is located between 7th Avenue and Broadway, and 42nd and 47th streets, it is currently the heart of the city in general and of the New York theater district in particular. The entire area is illuminated day and night by large illuminated signs and huge television screens, this has made it famous throughout the world, as well as the descent of the Crystal ball every December 31 from the top of 1 Times Square announcing the new Year. Up to two million people flocked to Times Square to ring in the year 2000 with the lowering of Waterford’s Millennial Crystal Ball, a huge Swarovski crystal ball made specifically for this event. The north end of the square, between 46th and 47th Streets, is known as Duffy Square in honor of Father Francis P. Duffy, chaplain of the New York Regiment of Infantry during World War II. Half-price same-day Broadway show tickets are available at the TKTS Box Office, located in the center of Duffy Square. The ticket offices, renovated in 2008, are covered on its roof with wide steps in the form of a staircase that allow visitors to sit or enjoy a panoramic view. On May 25, 2009, the city council temporarily closed the section of Broadway that runs through Times Square to pedestrian traffic. The experiment was a great success and it has become a permanent pedestrian plaza where the place is more enjoyable with new metal benches, chairs and tables. Times Square has its own police station, its street cleaning company, and its tourist office that has all the information about the city, and it is also a small museum dedicated to this important square. Times Square wouldn’t be recognizable without its amazing illuminated signs. An image that is admired by two million people who pass through this square every day and many millions more in the world who enjoy it through photographs, paintings, cinema and television. Times Square began to fill with large advertisements in 1916, when the City Council encouraged its installation in this part of the city. Since then there are many who have passed through here, some true works of art. In addition, they played an important role in the remodeling of the square during its most decadent period: as a measure of pressure on the city’s rulers, one night their neighbors turned off all the signs for 15 minutes. SECRET TUNNELS REPORTEDLY FOUND UNDER CHABAD-LUBAVITCH HEADQUARTERS IN NEW YORK! I’m tracking the story of the secret tunnels found under the Chabad-Lubavitch Headquarters in Crown Heights. A Union Street homeowner told several weeks ago that they had been hearing suspicious noises at night in their home for a period of time. As the noise continued, the concerned homeowner notified someone of the sounds and their suspicion. reported that around this same time construction workers found what appeared to be a tunnel underground. Last night vandalism and chaos occurred allegedly because cement trucks were brought in to fill in the tunnels. The bochurim allegedly began disconnecting, hosing and vandalizing the cement trucks. The NYPD was called in and the vandalism continued inside. The bochurim flipped tables and ripped off the walls of downstairs 770 exposing the hidden tunnel. There were reportedly also attempts to pepper spray police officers. One of the more disturbing videos from the incident shows a stained mattress was pulled from the underground tunnel. Also, there’s a photo of what appears to be a baby highchair allegedly found in the tunnel. There were reportedly at least 10 people arrested. Curiously, there’s photos of mainstream media at the scene at around 7 p.m. EST; however, the MSM has been suspiciously silent. This raises red flags — are they all waiting for their 4 a.m. talking points before they cover this? The X page for The Chabad-Lubavitch Headquarters released a statement over an hour ago; however, they made no mention of the tunnels. The statement read: “The Chabad-Lubavitch community is pained by the vandalism of a group of young agitators who damaged the synagogue below Chabad Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway Monday night. These odious actions will be investigated, and the sanctity of the synagogue will be restored. Our thanks to the NYPD for their professionalism and sensitivity.” There’s no clear indication on what these tunnels were used for. I’ve reported extensively on how there’s underground tunnels all over the county that are used to traffic children. Sadly, this is not uncommon. Let’s hope this is not what these tunnels were used for regarding this incident. We’ll see how this plays out.

#امپورٹڈ_حکومت_نامنظور PTI ladies – leading from the front ~ Dedicated to the mothers, daughters and sisters of my nation 🇵🇰 “The world needs strong women. Women who will lift and build others, who will love and be loved, women who live bravely, both tender and fierce, women of indomitable will.” – Amy Tenney And indeed, it is the strong women of Pakistan who are defining the critical phase in the nation’s history. I applaud the womenfolk from different segments of our society who are standing firm to resist fascism. Their sacrifices and efforts will always be remembered. 14th of March marked a day of resistance against fascism which is the hallmark of the current regime. Police and Rangers were deployed in huge numbers around Chairman Imran Khan’s residence to unlawfully arrest the former Prime Minister, where thousands of his supporters had gathered to deny the regime from executing the illegitimate action. We resisted tooth and nail against relentless shelling and baton charge denying the arrest of our Chairman. For hours on end, I suffered a barrage of shelling but stayed steadfast to lead the unarmed protestors. Moreover, the day of 25th of May last year will go down in Pakistan’s history as a day that, amongst other features, signified the rise of Pakistani women to stand up for their rights in the face of extreme state barbarism. Countless ladies from all walks of life showed their will and resilience that day as they came to the streets in protest against the imported Government, braving teargas shells and police baton charge. Amongst the political leadership, most remarkable of all was the sheer strength of character and courage shown by Dr. Yasmin Rashid, a 71-year-old cancer survivor who was harassed by the police initially the night before the march and then on the roads, as police goons damaged her car, smashing the windscreen and pulled her off the vehicle. The remarkably resilient lady, however, was not intimidated and continued her journey to Islamabad. I myself braved through some of the most gruesome behaviour of police as innocent protestors in my convoy from Southern Punjab were continually subjected to the worst form of shelling by the police. Multiple vehicles were smashed up by thugs in bandannas facilitating the police, as it was clear the Government was hellbent on trampling over the right of peaceful protest we as the citizens of Pakistan are supposed to have. My convoy, regardless, moved on with intent, removing obstacles and making way for the other marchers as we were amongst the first ones to reach D-Chowk. I also continually updated the progress of the march from my social media accounts. Additionally, the bravery shown by Shireen Mazari – the way she has risen to challenge and has exposed sheer hypocrisy and double standards is also commendable. She has most effectively taken up the burning issue of the diplomatic cipher at the heart of the regime change episode, and called out different parties to clarify their positions regarding how they are fulfilling their duties to the country. Amongst countless womenfolk in PTI, some notable leaders to specifically mention here include Barrister Maleeka Bokhari who stood firm and continued to move on despite the heavy shelling, and has also wonderfully been working on the cases for the restoration of the rights of protestors. Others including Kanwal Shauzab MNA, Aliya Hamza Malik and Musarrat Cheema are role models for women across the country in this struggle for freedom. This struggle for defying the imposed imported Government and for genuine freedom of Pakistan is a national movement rather than a political one. And the nation’s females are an integral part of the resistance. The nation won’t be cowed down by state brutalities as we know the power of truth trumps everything. No headlines, no rolling coverage, no hand-wringing segments on the BBC about “community tensions.” Just a terse citizen video from accounts showing the grim reality our elites work overtime to hide. Why the blackout? Because the truth shatters the narrative. Mass low-skilled, often hostile migration, disproportionately from cultures that do not assimilate, particularly Islamic ones that treat our laws, women, and values with contempt, has imported not just economic strain but rising violence, grooming gangs, stabbings, and now routine armed confrontations on our streets. Liverpool, like so many of our cities, bears the scars: native working-class communities eroded, knife crime normalised, and police forced into paramilitary responses because politicians refused to secure the borders. What Trump’s actions show is that globalization is over. Nations must form empires again and secure their strategic space and resources. The world has woken up and is preparing for this new age. If you do not possess a resource at home, or lack direct access to it and the military capability to defend that access and the transport routes then you are dependent on the goodwill of others. The so-called “free and open market” no longer exists. The global Walmart cop has retired. Free, secure, reliable, and cheap global transport may soon be a thing of the past. The world is wide awake and adapting. Europe, meanwhile, reacts with one-sided moral outrage. Geopolitical actions are still interpreted through the outdated ideology of the unipolar moment, judged morally by whether one likes or dislikes the regime being changed. Europe needs to wake up from its liberal, post-political slumber. We are no longer an isolated island between two blocs. We are no longer an economic eunuch living as an adorable pet in the golden cage of a Pax Americana. But the current elites refuse to wake up. They want to become the world police themsevles now - a globocop without a gun. When they speak belligerently about “defending Europe,” they do not mean defending European peoples, national identities, or national interests. They mean defending liberal universalism. They are fanatics of a cargo cult. They are incapable of responding to modern challenges or operating in a de-globalized world. They hate Trump and Putin primarily but because they think they shattered their beautiful dream of globalization out of bad will. They were just reading the signs earlier and rugpulled the unipolar world with imperial politics. Now our elites want to make it the White European man’s burden to rebuild a utopia that never existed in the first place. To get us in line they copy paste a few Vril-Edits, beat their chests and clamor about the "evil" rest of the world. I stand by my words. The real enemy is within. The greatest threat to national survival and European sovereignty is our current rotten, imbecile, unattractiv and stupid elite. Every day they are in power longer, they're losing more European soil, resources, power, lives, and ethnocultural heritage. They must go.
