That is pretty funny! Now imagine that exact same script being used by older generations who likewise lacked the ability to predict future events and getting informed by the guy on the phone that we would get blamed for everything bad and not be credited for anything good. I as a gen Jones guy who graduated school in the early '80's chose to become a mechanic because mechanics made very good money back in the '70's. I did not know that the wages of nearly all skilled trade employees were going to be driven downward by the monied class for decades to come.

I used to work 350h a month in my twenties. Inflation made housing unaffordable no matter how many hours you put in. I just said fuck it and switched to office 8-5 job. Why bother anymore? Just pissed at myself for wasting my youth working... let the system burn.
