The Travel Channel needs to give you a show about touring the US from a Foreigner's perspective.

Ouray is my favorite place in all of North America.

You need to stop in Telluride after Ouray. One of the most beautiful ski resorts in North America. It is tucked into a box canyon. Then you can take the Gondola up to Mountain Village.

It’s a BEAUTIFUL Country out there. I drove from Houston to Portland and back during the pandemic. An unbelievable trip.

As a roadtripper, The Million Dollar Highway is legendary for reasons and one of the most beautiful drives I’ve done. They call the area outside Ouray “the Switzerland of America”. Had to share a few pics from when we were there (late November, and open the last pic it’s a pano)

Maybe you're getting the reason why so few Americans, comparative to the total population, feel the need to travel outside the U.S. Happy for you and your buds to travel "from the mountains to oceans white with foam. God bless America; my home sweet home." Dispensaries are legal in CO. Rocky Mountain High! Colorado.

I hope you aren't driving south. Watch out for snowplows. They run year round, to clean rockfall off the road when it's not snowing.

It’s not for the faint hearted 😅

Freddy, when I lived in Ouray almost every single year somebody accidentally drove over the side, there. I remember, ugh, an older couple that decided to drive that road in slushy conditions. They went over the steepest part. Sad. Oh and another time, some single guy had a drink at The Outlaw in Ouray, then said he was going to go meet aliens. Drove up the pass right where you are there and blew himself up along with his vehicle with dynamite.

You need to go to Mesa Verde and see the cave dwellers it is pretty neat

I was waiting for you to get out of the South. Don’t get me wrong—love the South. But, one thing it doesn’t have in abundance is elevation.

You should experience it on a bicycle. The hot springs in Ouray are outstanding.

I've driven it once.... the only thing I saw was the road right in front of me as I was too worried to look away... those are some steep drop offs...

You should check out the Grand Canyon and Sedona

Looks like the highway going from Tucson, Arizona up to Summerhaven, AZ and Ski Valley. This one looks less dangerous, though.
