Multiple people were detained after teens got into a messy brawl in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where a girl in a white top threw another girl into a cop who was defending a fellow cop making an arrest. The defending cop then shoved the girls back to clear space, and they went flying. There had been reports of someone brandishing a firearm. No shots were fired during the incident that happened on Saturday, April 11. Some people have criticized the white officer for shoving the girls so forcefully, but as you can see from this longer version of the video, he had been calmly detaining a girl at the start of the video and then ran over to help a fellow cop. Then a girl got shoved into him, and he had to react to protect himself and the other cop. Near the end, the girl in the white top (who earlier fell over the bike when pushed by the defending cop) headed toward the cop again and backed off when he pointed his taser at her.
