- The X post references a scene from "Misfits," a British science fiction comedy-drama series that aired from 2009 to 2013, focusing on young offenders who gain superpowers after a supernatural storm, blending dark humor with supernatural elements. - The series, created by Howard Overman, won the 2010 BAFTA Television Award for Best Drama Series and is known for its unique take on superhero tropes, featuring characters like Nathan, Kelly, Curtis, Alisha, and Simon, each with distinct powers and personal struggles. - "Misfits" is noted for its sharp dialogue and eccentricity, differing from American shows like "Heroes" by focusing on ordinary teenagers rather than idealized superheroes, and it maintained a cult following despite changes in cast and direction over its five seasons.
